On Friday it was revealed that the FBI is investigating Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) for allegedly sleeping with underage prostitutes in the Dominican Republic.
Despite this, when Menendez was given a six-minute interview with Martha Raddatz on ABC's This Week Sunday, he was not asked one question about the investigation or the allegations (commentary follows with full transcript at end of post):
Raddatz began the interview asking Menendez about what Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) had previously said on the program concerning immigration. She followed this up by asking Menendez what he wanted to hear from the President about this issue.
Next, Raddatz asked Menendez about the controversy surrounding the attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya, last year - in particular, how he felt Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did during her testimony before Congress last week.
The next subject Raddatz chose was whether Menendez felt Chuck Hagel would be confirmed as Obama's Secretary of Defense.
Raddatz concluded the interview by asking Menendez about the looming senatorial race in New Jersey between incumbent Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D) and Newark Mayor Cory Booker (D).
With a total of six minutes of air time, Raddatz didn't ask one single question about the FBI's investigation of Menendez.
Can you imagine her ignoring such an issue if she were interviewing a Republican?

ABC news, “of course not, we have no clue what you are talking about anyway. All that matters is the Senators take on those evil gun toting, evil God worshiping Republicans”
Sometimes. . . sometimes I think violence is the only answer. (sigh)
Presstitutes don’t ask about prostitutes. Professional courtesy.
It was recently reported last year that during press conferences of the five major networks the president took questions from ABC reporters 40% of the time. Helps explain why Americans know virtually nothing about the various scandals his administration is involved in.
Pedophiles, polygamist, everybody.
Raddatz is the old bag who invited Obama to her wedding and “moderated” a debate.
That bi#ch Martha Raddatz would have hounded her incessantly.
This media bias sh!t is coming to a breaking point.
Yes,for heavens’ sake sleep with ‘of age’ prostitutes.
This bs that in one year Americans went from wanting deportation to favoring citizenship, is pure bull crap.
Let’s see an honest poll that asks do you want citizenship or deportation for illegals.
The war on women must be over.
Why would a Democrat newsroom ask a Democrat about his foreign flings with underage prostitutes?
"But WHY were you tapping your toes in a bathroom stall?"
If they start a war, the enemedia is loaded with soft targets.
All Bull Chit
ABCDisney News Network. Walt's corpse must be rotating.
It ceased being mere bias quite some time ago...their coverage is now no different than if it was directly produced by the DNC or the White House itself.
I never watch the Sunday shows anymore...they are nothing but propaganda for this administration.
Lies, lies, and more lies.
It’s like they purposely try and find the worst people out of both parties to put on. They never have anyone interesting on, just the same lackey’s over and over telling us how to think. Screw them all!
With Kerry stepping up to Sec of State, Menendez will now bring a whole new dimension and meaning to the position of Chairman of the Senate “Foreign Affairs” Committee. As for Martha Raddatz, see my tagline.
Conservatives need to end their appearances on these one-sided Sunday shows. Nothing good ever comes out of appearing with these Demo-ho’s.
If Menedez had been a Republican he would have been declared guilty, called a child molester and ABC would be howling for him to resign. As Democrat...nothing to see here. Objective journalism is long dead in this country.
Liberal journalism is not journalism at all.
What does it say when you can confidently go on a Sunday news interview show in light not only of an FBI investigation, but with the investigation becoming public? This is something out of the Chavez's Venezuela, not the United States.
The press is not biased, it is corrupt--as corrupt as the politicians ... at least the Democrat politicians.
Republican infighting? To quote Hillary! "What difference does it make?" The Republicans could unify tomorrow, and they will never stand a chance with a press this corrupt. With a press this corrupt, the only way to stop the corrupt Democrats is to render the current press obsolete.
