In an explosive exchange outside the U.S. Conference of Mayors meeting in Washington, D.C., security guards for billionaire New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg accosted senior Talk Radio Network investigative reporter Jason Mattera when he asked the mayor about his strong support for gun control.

I have/had kinfolk in Germany, both during WWII and after. While they were certainly appalled at the treatment the Jews got from the Nazi’s, The Jews there had a not undeserved reputation as self serving crooks. In the video, Bloomberg is seen surrounded by security. Mattera approaches Bloomberg and asks, “In the spirit of gun control, will you disarm your entire security team?”
Bloomberg’s reply: “Uh, you, we’ll get right back to you.”
“Why can you defend yourself but not the majority of Americans?” Mattera asks as the mayor walks away. “Look at the team of security you’ve got. And you’re an advocate for gun control?”
The video then cuts to Mattera walking further down the street when one of the men guarding Bloomberg, identified as Officer Stockton NYPD, stops Mattera and asks to see his photo ID.
Mattera complies before asking, “Is this standard procedure for the press? Wait, wait, wait, it’s standard procedure to be questioning members of the press?
The officer reaches inside his jacket and grabs a pen, as if to write down the journalist’s name. “You’re going to write it down now?” asks Mattera. “Oh, no, sorry,” says Officer Stockton.
The video then cuts to a scene further down the street where Officer Stockton, trailing Mattera once again, can be heard saying, “Mr. Mattera, sir? Do you have a date of birth?”
“It’s none of your business what my date of birth is,” Mattera replies....

Actually I have moved lol! Two months ago in fact, although some of my stuff is still in my old place. I’m staying with a friend now out in Long Island then I’m making a beeline to Pennsylvania as I have some friends out there as well. I’ve absolutely had it with NYC. It is so freakin’ bad there right now the only place I can compare it to is North Korea but without the prison camps and the starvation, although I know plenty of people who do live like that thanks to this SOB who destroyed their businesses.

One guy I know was driven out of business from fines, such as not having the cash register at a certain height, not displaying a no cash refund sign, not having this sign, not doing this doing that so he was like F it. It’s just blatant theft by the city and he was to hell with this.

This guy Bloomberg is nuts, he is the epitome of the insane dictator. Absolute power corrupts absolutely and that is exactly what has happened here. Today I read a story he was sexually harassing women, and of course nothing will happen to him. Why? Because he’s a despot. He has absolute power. People think it can’t happen in the US? Think again. This is EXACTLY why we have the 2nd amendment.

If any Freeper is stopped in this matter, he should ask the “authority” for a business card, or identifying information. It’s a two way street out there.

Matteras should ask for the specific legal reason he is being questioned.

The behavior by NYPD officers, far from their kingdom, is repugnant.

All you need to demand someone’s ID, if you actually are a law enforcement officer of some kind, is “reasonable suspicion.” Which is basically a gimme. I doubt anyone’s ever been able to prove an officer didn’t meet the burden, even with video evidence. Unless they were a Brown Skinned Human asked to prove their citizenship, in which case the officer can be eviscerated, castrated, and drawn and quartered.
