Jim – I passed a convoy of olive drab unmarked 40 foot tractor trailers each with four 10 yard ammo bunker boxes chained to them and unmarked armored Hum-Vee’s heading north on I-95 in Brevard County, Florida this past Thursday morning. The “govt” is positioning these ammo storage boxes, I have been told, in strategic places in population centers around the country. They are usually painted olive drab and are unmarked except for indistinguishable numbers/letters probably for inventory, routing, etc.
Obma’s Homeland Security Department has purchased 1.4 billion rounds of ammunition – that is not a typo — during the last six months.
ATK is one company that won a contract with the Department of Homeland Security to provide 450 million rounds of .40 caliber ammunition in 2012.
Previously it was reported that people around the US have begun reporting the site of strange, new, heavily-armed FEMA fighting vehicles this past year.
One set of images made available by Rense.com shows trailer after trailer carrying these new DHS and FEMA armored fighting vehicles, complete with machine gun slots. They’re labeled with the usual backward American flag and the title, ‘Homeland Security’. Below that and the DHS logo, it also reads, ‘Immigration & Customs Enforcement’. Joining those markings, the black vehicles with white lettering also display ‘POLICE/RESCUE’ on one side and ‘Special Response Team’ on the other.

As we detailed in the August 28 Whiteout Press article ‘History of DHS Ammunition Purchases’, federal emergency management agencies are looking more and more like a military army every day.
The federal government’s procurement website actually lists DHS’ requests for bids to supply it with ammunition and military weaponry. All of the orders listed in the above article, including the orders for hundreds of millions of rounds of ammunition, are publicly available at http://www.fbo.gov.
One look at a chart of DHS ammunition purchases over the past decade reveals a drastic spike in orders of bullets recently, totaling in the billions of rounds. Other charts available online show a similar drastic spike in the purchases of accompanying weaponry by the Department of Homeland Security.
What is the US federal government preparing for? And why does it feel it needs an army of brainwashed youth, millions of guns, thousands of armored fighting vehicles and literally billions of rounds of ammunition, just to provide relief to the American people during a natul disaster? Any historian will tell you it sounds more like the arming of the Hitler Youth than an army of first responders fighting forest fires and hurricanes.

Personally I think the Obama administration is deliberately screwing with us.
Looks like the ‘well regulated militia’ needs to start thinking about anti-tank weapons.
In the meantime, stock up on ammonia and Mason jars.
A Mason jar full of ammonia can be thrown at the vents of such vehicles and ammonia cannot be filtered out even by the best chemical filters. Meaning that the crew inside such a vehicle will have to evacuate it if it is hit with such a simple device.
The rest I’ll leave up to the imagination.
Is it a coincidence that 0bama’s gov’t purchased vast quantities of ammo right before a horrible event happened that would cause a HUGE public demand for ammo, thus depleting the supply? NO.

I think that is a distinct possiblity. I have no earthly idea why the feds need 450 million rounds of .40.
Maybe I'm over thinking this, but what if Obama was sort of baiting - or smoking out - people or groups who woud look upon these government moves in fear and terror and then come out swinging. If Obama could get someone to take shots at the government, however feeble, Obama would then have the full political cover to bring the hammer down and all but declare Martial law or at least begin the confiscation process.
Nothing out of the MSM of course... Nothing questionable to them about DHS somehow needing 1.4B rounds of Ammo? Nothing questionable to the MSM about the armored vehicles purchased? Do we have to take up a collection and bribe a reporter to start asking questions? Or does the check have to be payable to a Congresscritter to dig into this?
Considering the author doesn’t know what Olive Drab is versus Desert Sand and uses Rense as a source makes this pretty questionable. As these are sand painted, I would suspect that they are coming back from Iraq.

I’ve said this on another thread and someone pooh-poohed me, but I think that obammy and his cohorts have figured that if they can’t take our guns, they’ll buy up all the ammo, and we’ll have nothing to feed our guns..........

Although the purchase contract is only slightly above average (the 1.4B order is a 5 year contract, during Bush administration they were averaging purchasing about 250M rounds per year) the fact they are making 5 year contracts instead of annual may be to cause a bottleneck in the system. Some other producers are saying it is hard getting components now to keep up with consumer demand and this is increasing that bottleneck.
Well, the construction at the White HOuse is to build an underground bunker that could house Obama and his best buds for years, complete with surgery facilities.
Not sure if this means that they’re going for the Iranian EMP to finish off America (the shutting down of our southern air defenses on March 15th will open up a nice little unmonitored “hole” for an Iranian EMP launched from Chavez’ Venezuela), or whether it means they’ll go for the biological WMD attack in every major city via Hamas and Hezbollah operatives who Chavez allowed to enter Venezuela on direct unchecked flights from Iran (again, shutting down our southern defenses would allow more terrorists and WMD’s to enter the US through the border that Eric Holder has been holding wide open for the terrorists and the ATF-armed drug cartels that are helping to smuggle in those terrorists...)
