You are correct WND was the original source. I have been following this story since the weekend and it seems to be gaining some traction. Fox news reported the possibility of the explosion this morning and the potential implications. They reported that israeli intelligence has confirmed.

I'm sure we'll know more soon, and we'll know if this is nonsense or real. The Russian Times has this report. And not that I trust them, but they the momentum of the story will make it hard to hide the truth. You may remember that when the Israelis bombed a Syrian nuclear facility neither side when public with the information. This war is going on in the shadows, with much of what's happening being the type of thing that both sides don't want the world to know.

As far as sabotage goes, it is a rule of thumb that a bomb will often do far less damage than if you set their own equipment to self destruct. And this can be as simple as a gauge, where a reading of 8 through 10 is ‘red zone’, but the gauge won’t read higher than 7, no matter the actual condition.

Bunker busters don’t actually need to penetrate the main chambers-—just undermine the access points. And if that’s accurate info it smacks of something external rather than an internal explosion. Either way it’s tough sledding for whatever bunch of geniuses might have been inside. Gonna need a lot of virgins to service that bunch. Wonder who might have quietly delivered a six pack of bunker busters?
