President Obama said that he “goes skeet-shooting all the time,” a comment that apparently has the White House press corps a little suspicious.
A reporter today asked White House Press Secretary Jay Carney how often Obama goes shooting and why hasn’t the press corps heard about this before? Carney simply referred her to Obama’s statement.
Is there a photo of the president shooting? “There may be, but I haven’t seen it,” Carney replied. He didn’t mention if he had personally seen Obama go shooting.
I have no doubt that Obama has used guns. In his younger years, he was exactly the kind of punk who would use a stolen gun to knock over a 7-11 for cash to buy his drugs.
I doubt Carney even knows what a ‘skeet’ looks like.
It is because there ISN’T one! He is a liar! Why do you think Drudge has been mocking him about it with many pictures.

My bet is that sometime within the last couple of weeks someone informed Obama for the first time that there are skeet shooting facilities at Camp David and suggested he may want to work that into a speech or interview somehow. IF the reperter had followed up by asking what Barky’s favorite gun for shooting skeet was he would have shut right up and changed the subject.

Best Skeet Recipe:
Attach the Skeet to a wooden board and marinate in your favorite barbeque sauce overnight, then bake covered in a oven at 250 F for 4 hours, remove, throw away the Skeet and eat the board.
(Mrs. Smooth recommends deboning the skeets first. I guess it makes them easier to nail to the board)
(Oh, and she says if they’re saltwater skeets, be sure and devein them)

First, in the entire time that he lived in Hawaii...he very likely never handled a shotgun. During the time in California and Columbia University...he didn’t handle a gun at that point. As a community rep, and later a state legislative guy...I don’t believe he handled a gun then. He might have gone out as a senator and shot locally in Virginia or Maryland.
Second, the fact that no photo exists of him at a skeet range...ever...kinda makes this comical. The question of who he shot skeet with....ought to pop up....but no one seemed to want to ask that question.

BO: Why yes. There is nothing more satisfying than killing and dressing your on inanimate object for dinner. My favorite recipe for clay pigeons is Braised Pigeons in Chocolate Sauce .

BO: I like to soak them overnight in salt water and boil them for a long time to make them tender.
