The leader of a national gay-rights group says he’s coming out–as a friend of Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy.

“I’ve gotten to know Dan, he’s gotten to know me. He’s shared concerns about young people, about Chick-fil-A being used for certain purposes,” Shane Windmeyer, executive director of Campus Pride, told ABC News.

In July, Equality Matters examined tax forms and found that in 2010 the restaurant chain had donated over $1.9 million to “anti-gay causes.” In September, the restaurant chain pledged to stop donating to anti-gay groups. Windmeyer says those donations stopped in 2011.

Weren’t too many folks complaining about Sheldon Adelson supporting gay marriage and abortion when he was backing their guy either.

Do you trust CFA to tell the truth about itself? Why would they claim that they stopped giving money to traditional marriage groups in 2010? Why would their filing show that they stopped giving money to those groups.

First, do no harm. Cathay has no intention of being miliantly cruel to gays. In the image and likeness of God, we were all created and through Him have human dignity. Cathay serves chicky and chips to gays with the same human respect as he would any other customer, and supports charitable actions where gays are actually known to support the same charity also, is more likely the truth.

Cathay has declined to support political agendas that are militantly anti-gay. He does oppose gay behavior and we all know that.

Er, MOST of us know that.

You are still spinning double talk. Why was being anti-gay marriage okay in 2009, and it was, "militantly anti-gay?'

According to you, Ronald Reagan was, "militantly anti-gay"

According to you, Bill Clinton was, "militantly anti-gay" (while president)

According to you, President Obama was, "militantly anti-gay" until May 2012.

According to you, all Catholics are, "militantly anti-gay"

Lies. You want to hate on Mr. Cathy and Chick fil A? You are so desperate as to rehash settled concerns and promote the queer agenda?

I can see that your problems are deep, and these problems have nothing to do with the truth of CFA; You are evidently bitter and resentful that the queers failed.

What’s next there nick? You notice the thread in Breaking News about the Boy Scouts are set to cave in to the gay agenda? Does that not send a thrill down your leg or what?

Why not post a thread slamming the BSA? You’re already in deep believing the lies against CFA. Go for the gold and start denouncing the Boy Scouts too.

Uh, their WinShape Foundation IS a pro-marriage (traditional) group. Please do your research. They are not ceasing donations to organization which promote traditional family values.

So, Chik Fil-A is lying about itself? They bragged on Facebook that they no longer give money to pro-traditional marriage groups. They put out a statement. Also, you are claiming they are lying in government filings. They could be severely punished for misrepresenting facts in filings. You claim they are committing fraud?

Sounds to me like he is just living the Biblical instruction to “Love Thy Enemy” to his full ability.

In a similar way Rev. Jerry Falwell befriended Larry Flynt after their SCOTUS battle over that dreadful parody ad.

When you and ABC name which concerns Cathay supported in the past, which promoted gay behavior.

Who, what, where and when? Then you can rail FOR ABC source work and AGAINST Cathay.

If it mattered, I could direct you back to threads and articles from last summer when all this was solved and resolved. When it was proven that CFA NEVER wavered and that the queers lied.

But CFA isn’t the issue here.

I said it a few minutes ago, and I’ll repeat myself. The issue is YOU. You are still so desperate as to glom onto any line of crap the queers and the media fling out there against CFA.

And your desperation is laughable. It makes you look like a fag supporter.

Please. Stop embarrassing yourself.

Sure. They probably didn't want to get their business into the political mess. Most businesses like to lay low when it comes to political issues. Look what the queers tried to do to them when they found out about them being moral. They wanted them destroyed.
As long as they don't support the queers now, I'm good with them staying out of the fray. They've got a business to run.

I don’t have any issues with someone being friendly with gays. One of my childhood friends is gay and we talk pretty regularly. We just don’t talk about the fact that he’s gay.

I have had several co-workers and business acquaintances who were gay. None of them spent their time waving the fact under my nose or pushing an agenda on me, so I was okay with it. I figure they’re adults in an allegedly free country.

You just want to smear conservatives. That’s okay. Your leftwing beliefs are irrelevant to me.

Could you please list the last 100 places you purchased anything from and tell me their stance on gay marriage and abortion and who they supported politically? And also tell me how many of them are closed on Sundays.

...now tell me why you support gay marriage and abortion by giving your money to companies that in turn use it to support a liberal agenda.
