In an explosive exchange outside the U.S. Conference of Mayors meeting in Washington, D.C., security guards for billionaire New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg accosted senior Talk Radio Network investigative reporter Jason Mattera when he asked the mayor about his strong support for gun control.
In the video, Bloomberg is seen surrounded by security. Mattera approaches Bloomberg and asks, In the spirit of gun control, will you disarm your entire security team?
Bloombergs reply: Uh, you, well get right back to you.
Why can you defend yourself but not the majority of Americans? Mattera asks as the mayor walks away. Look at the team of security youve got. And youre an advocate for gun control?
The video then cuts to Mattera walking further down the street when one of the men guarding Bloomberg, identified as Officer Stockton NYPD, stops Mattera and asks to see his photo ID.
Mattera complies before asking, Is this standard procedure for the press? Wait, wait, wait, its standard procedure to be questioning members of the press?

I’m honestly wondering if Bloomberg is insane-made insane by his drunkeness with power. I really wonder if he has clinical, certifiably insane megalomania.
A lib can’t answer that question honestly. They would admit they are hypocrits and liars and we can’t have that now can we?
Do this guys police powers extend to Washington DC?
Is he even allowed to carry in DC?
What about DC’s strict gun laws?
Let me be blunt, people within Bloomies’ community should tell that idiot he is burning precious capital with his insane gun control positions.
Bloombergs reply: Uh, you, well get right back to you.
Elites are all the same - what a blowhard. The conservative reporter was then asked for this name and date of birth BY Bloomberg's security team. The threat being that they would 'know where he lives'...
And we're not suppose to be able to protect ourselves?
Bloomberg should take his big fat ass and put it down in a small middle class flat for a few nights - without ANY security. No gun, no protection - nothing special. THEN tell us how he feels about citizens having the right to be armed. What a jerk...
Your lists might enjoy this one - Bloomberg was out walking with his armed Security Team when a conservative reporter asked him about gun control....
If Donald Trump buys the New York Times, he’s got his second hire in this kid... right after James O’Keefe.
Lucky he didn’t get his butt kicked. The guards did their job enforcing a safe distance zone.
Jason was hardly accosted. Good question though.
“Lucky he didnt get his butt kicked. The guards did their job enforcing a safe distance zone.

Those mean ugly big MF’in guys circled the mayor to protect him from this evil journalist. Guess which was armed? The mayor benefits from armed protection, and he wants normal people to be at the mercy of armed violent criminals.
He was pretty aggressive about his actions and they did their job not allowing him to pierce that protective veil.
I applaud him but, he pit himself in that position knowing full well what the consequences could be.
What is your point? Plenty of good Germans did their jobs also. Bloomberg’s muscle should not be applauded for carrying that dirtbags water.
Indeed. How dare that mere peon question His Execrable Majesty King Bloomberg of York? Doesn't he know Bloomus Maximus is above question?
Bloomberg is a coward, and those thugs who followed and pestered the reporter are inexcusable.
Still they laid their filthy hands on him. He at no time showed anything other than asking a series of questions to which we would all love to hear answers.
Bloombutt is like all other political scum in that they do not handle dissenting opinion well at all.
Which perfectly illustrates the point. Bloomberg has a team of armed and effective security agents at all times while the average citizen has nothing but themselves and whatever weapon they can bring to bear on their own. Bloomberg would like to make that their bare hands.
If the reporter was not a threat in anyway...Bloombergs SS men comitted assault by touching him. The reporter should press criminal charges and civil action. He should have never offered to ID himself...NYPD are out of their jurisdiction
Reporters get in people’s faces all the time. I don’t recall seeing the MSM being manhandled by security surrounding someone like Romney or Boehner. If that happened, it would be on the news 24/7.
Having been to quite a few Hollywood VIP parties and political fundraising and a variety of other events I’ve seen happen.
Besides our disagreement with Booberg, what exactly is your gripe?
This whole thing demonstrates the hypocrisy of calling for Americans to disarm while being armed themselves and/or hiring private citizens who are armed to protect him.
That was why he acted the way he did. His questions were irrelevant, he knew Bloomingidiot would have no reply or some phony digression at best. Mattera wasn’t trying to show any wrongdoing on the part of the security team. They didn’t do anything wrong they did what a security detail should do. What he was demonstrating was that Bloomingidiot lives in a protected elitist bubble while pushing to make ordinary citizens live like sheep ready to be slaughtered.
So, how do you like existing as a live on your knees lick spittle?
