"Obama chose Kerry, 69, the son of a diplomat, decorated Vietnam veteran and 2004 Democratic presidential candidate, to succeed Clinton, who is stepping down after four years. The senator had pined for the top diplomatic job that went to Clinton after Obama's 2008 election"

Not one GOP member has so much as dare mention this cowardly bastard's treasonous actions during and after the Vietnam War. Like I have said before, the GOP is done as a party of relevance. Next up will be the Israel-hating, Bush-bashing RINO Pvt Hagel as Secretary of Defense.

I have absolutely no faith or confidence in the Government of the United States or in any elected member or bureaucratic employee thereof. It is government by farce.

That’s because they want him the hell out of the senate! And being from MA, I’ll be very happy to see him gone. He’ll continue the foreign policy chaos of Obama, but that was going to happen anyway.

Is this really kowtowing to Obama? They’re all Senators, and they’ve worked together for decades. Kerry’s their buddy, of course they were going to pass him through without issue. His ideology, his traitorous past have nothing to do with it since he’s got his buddies voting for him.

Today marks 2921 days since 01/30/2005 when "Hanoi" John Effin Kerry promised, on national TV, to sign form SF-180 and release his military records.

Did Kerry meet with the viet cong during the viet nam war, while he was a reserve officer or not?

If yes - He cannot be Sec of State.

It is that simple - no politics; no personal attacks.

Is the GOPe/GOP just the right wing of the political ruling class, or is it a party with principles?

Thurston Howell III and Lovey. What a couple of maroons! I guess nothing should surprise me any more. Too bad he didn’t go on a 3 hour tour on his “gun boat” back when. He did serve in Viet Nam in case you forgot. Maybe his expertise will allow him to negotiate with Jhen-Jhis Khan. The haughty john f’n kerry should fit right in with the hoi paloi. What an outstanding negotiator. Kind of like when he went to gay Paree to have talks with the NVA. What a disgrace this clown is. Now thankfully he can once again say: “Reporting for duty”. He lied and...........well, he lied. Tossed “his” medals over the fence. Well, not actually “his” medals. But, he does have great kennedyesque hair. As if that means anything outside the beltway. Uh, did he move his yacht yet?

Sad to say that the northeast was where this country got it’s start. What the hell happened?

Molon labe.

Conservatives and patriotic Americans no longer have a party to represent them in Congress. The Communists, Marxists, and other American hating enemies have taken over the country. The Left's long march through the institutions, including the school system, has assured the death of the USA.

They’re demokkkrats/radical left wing extremists. Do you really think they care about rules and regulations? Just minor distractions from their ultimate goals. “Sorry, we can’t be bothered by that or you.” We’re dismissed like a bunch of peons. Which we are by their standards. If we weren’t we’d be mixing it up with them but since we aren’t, we must be peons. Gather the pitchforks! No principles discovered in the latest search.

Why? Elections have consequences. We lost. Generally speaking, the President gets the cabinet he wants. Like a lot of constitutional originalists, Rand probably believes disagreeing with a nominee, no matter how vehemently, is just not reason enough to vote to deny the President his choice.

Kerry is a disaster who's been wrong about pretty much everything in his entire career, but this is the result of losing yet another election.

Senator Rand Paul’s office in Washington D.C suggested the Senators voted to pass the nomination out of committee for a full vote in the Senate. They could not explain why when questioned. Telephone and let them no about your opinions.

Why single out Kerry as a traitor?

Every one of these men know Kerry’s record.

If Kerry is a traitor—every one of these stinking smelly Obama’s are traitors too.

In the United States a Patriot like Sarah Palin is crucified while this band-aid wearing, Jane fonda loving, medal tossing, POW killing Piece of excrement is given one of the top Cabinet jobs in a Muslims administration.

My God My God why hast Thou forsaken us.

As if I didn’t know—abortion and Homosexuals.

In a very sick/sad way it seems to always come back to the state run media. Talk to ANY young person (high school through college age) or any older person who only tunes into ABC NBC etc - what the media has done is demonize the Republicans and convince these ‘low info’ voters that they are the party of obstruction.

It is a reality and having said as much, I wonder if the thought was to save their fight for Hagel and Lew. In the end, this pos Kerry has spread his filth his entire life, and this post isn’t going to be much different then what that old hag bag Hillary was doing.

I get the anger, but I can’t imagine having to deal with all the filth in DC and try to fight every piece of cra* the commies keep pushing.

Just my take on it.

“He did serve in Viet Nam in case you forgot”.

He spent FOUR MONTHS in-country. I was in SEA during this time and you had to have at least 6 months on any short tour to even get credit for the tour. In addition the decorations for valor he was awarded were all bogus. He wrote them up himself and got the “awards and decs officer” to sign off on them. Officers take care of each other. Everything about this creep makes me sick to my stomach, but without a doubt the biggest reason of all he should never be confirmed as even Sec of the Dog Pound is his flat-out lying about seeing war crimes being committed in Vietnam, and he said he participated in them. The entire Winter Soldier Hearings were proven to be bogus and nothing but a bunch of lying Vietnam-veteran wannabes (and some who had never even been in the service), trying to stir up the anti-war movement. They got their stooge and poster boy in Herman Munster “reporting for duty” Kerry. He also met with the North Vietnamese while we still had men fighting and dying. Benedict Arnold Kerry should have tried for treason years ago.

Roger that. I joined the Navy in ‘67. My dad was a career officer and I think he pulled some strings to keep me away from SEA during my enlistment. I swore an oath then and, as far as I’m concerned, it still applies today. People like the haughty john f’n kerry (and he won’t fail to remind you he was there either. “Jerk” would be an insult to jerks.) are a disgrace and now look. SecState? This is the clown that talked us down and now he’s gonna get that post. Per Steve McQueen at the end of “The Sandpebbles”: “What the hell happened?”
