Marco Rubio's tough talk to Rush Limbaugh yesterday about no immigration deal being done unless certain language on border security, etc. is included? Ignore it. Just Rubio taking care of his conservative base—and saving face. In the end, Rubio will likely give Obama his vote on immigration reform. It's all about finding an out for Republicans when it comes to winning back a decent share of the Latino vote. And conservatives will be willing to take the deal.
Such was the collective wisdom of Morning Joe today, as enunciated by Jon Meacham and seconded by Joe Scarborough.

I don’t trust Rubio.
First, I believe Rubio is sincere.
My question is what happens when the plan is approved to secure the border, before anybody is placed on “the path to citizenship”?
Obama ignores the border security, but initiates “the path”.
How do we stop him?
Even if the “language is included,” it doesn’t mean they’ll actually do it.
I believe the GOP will shut up, roll over, and that will be that. The Dems continue continue to rub our noses in their steaming pile. If we give everyone a work visa (amnesty), then we won’t need border security. Why pretend. Swallow.
The base has been played for suckers since 2004. Tell us something we don’t know, Morning Joe.
Rubio is playing the game.
He isn’t stupid, he knows the borders will remain open.
In another ten years we will be doing the same thing we are doing now. Voting to close the borders and make eveyone already here a citizen.

If Rubio is even perceived as a threat to the Communist machine at work, he will be destroyed like a bug. If you don’t believe me, just remember back to all the candidates during the last election. The lamestream media will assist in any character assassination.
On this so called “issue” there are two camps. Those who support demographic warfare against America and its melting pot, and those who do not support demographic warfare against America BUT WHO DO NOT WANT AMERICA TO BECOME A CULTURAL MOSAIC, without a melting pot.
This fight is not just about immigration, it is about retaining our melting pot model, or succumbing to Balkanization of the People into a society that can be divided and conquered aliong racial/ethnic grounds, by a tyrannical government created by Obama..
Now the left says that the cultural balkanization of America is a done deal, unavoidable. THAT IS NOT CORRECT.Collin Powell went on Fox and said it was a done deal. NO IT IS NOT.
The melting pot vs. cultural mosaic format must be debated directly in Congress so that the people WILL know the issue: IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE A PATRIOTIC AMERICAN, LOYAL TO THE CONSTITUTION AND TO THE REPUBLIC, THEN LEAVE THIS PLACE, you have no business here and neither does reconquista.
WE MUST RETURN to the melting pot model, and if people want to keep theior ancestral culture, let them do so freely and privately at home in their own places and privately funded institutions. BUT ABOVE ALL, EACH CITIZEN must be an American, despite the obvious fact that OUR SO CALLED PRESIDENT IS NOT.
Preserve melting pot America, do not abandon it in a cheap blow to our Republic designed to wage demographic warfare on the majority of America, which just happens to be occidental,and shamelessly caucasian.
Rubio has fallen for the idea that melting pot America is at an end. That’s his weakness, and the weakness of this newest sell out Ganag of Four.
And the border MUST be secured at all costs, and if the feds will not do it, then the states will.

Rubio is an idiot on this issue. NO Amnesty for these illegal maggots. The 30 million Amnestied will bring an additional 100 million in from their homelands, their family members etc. . Because citizens can do that. And they will NEVER vote Republican . this is just an plan to get tens of millions of new democrat voters ,more voters for socialism. you cannot convince someone to change from an illiterate ant-American socialist ( try arguing with a liberal for example.)

I agree but only as part of a grand coalition.
The Rubio wing, and other progressive conservatives, do have something to add to the party.
Our problem is they have been running the party since around Bush the first.
They need to be a partner, and frankly a junior partner, with conservatives.
