There’s already a “careful path to citizenship” darlin’ regardless of the pap the Democrats have been feeding you:
http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextchannel=86bd6811264a3210VgnVCM100000b92ca60aRCRD

Last, but certainly not least of the requirements: “Be a person of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the United States during all relevant periods under the law.”

Pointy-headed Fed. Administrator: “So Mr. Gonzales. Have you ever broken any laws?”

Senor Gonzales: los cricketos

PHFA: “Here or in Mexico?”

los cricketos.

PHFA: “Muy bien! Bienvenidos a los Estados Unidos!”

Senor Gonzales: “Gracias, gracias, bueno. Donde estan las gueras, las mujeres blancas? Y chicas? Ninas? Y el dinero? Cerveza? Mi dinero, muy pronto por favor.” (He becomes quite loquacious)

However it’s good to know that you have some, um, qualms(?) about welcoming murderous/suicidal muzzie terrorists into America ... You’re not a bad person. Go forth and reform.

No!!!...

Never allow citizenship for someone who came here illegally.
What I maybe could support is a path toward some kind of legal residency. Then their children born here would be allowed to apply for citizenship.

I absolutely 100% support a pathway to citizenship for illegals.

1.) Register

2.) Leave the country

3.) Fill out papers to apply for citizenship

4.) Get in line behind those who applied legally.

What is so damn complicated about that?

I sure do support this policy.

***GO HOME! APPLY FOR LEGAL IMMIGRATION AND WAIT YOUR FRICKIN’ TURN!***

I support that whole heartedly.

The problem with polls is they necessarily oversimplify, subject too complex to summarize.

In this case, it depends on “the path” and the sincerity of the parties in complying with the agreement.

Do those here illegally really go to the back of the line?
What is the penalty for having entered illegally?
Do they REALLY have to pay that penalty?

Does “the fence” really get built IMMEDIATELY?
Is there REAL security provided to secure the fence?

How long is the wait for the right to vote?
Is it more than 10 years?

Everything from a blood test to RCMP/police background checks and these effing leeches protest for a quick way to citizenship..F em.

i would offer the illegal mexicans the opportunity to serve in the USA military, this has been a path to citizenship for a long time...

i would allow for compassion cases (genuinely disabled, not fake ones like obamma is doling out our tax money to.)

i would cut all other illegals (other than disabled compassion cases already mentioned) from all welfare and dole and foodstamps and obummafones. immmigrants are supposed to be able to support themselves, that’s been the law for a very very long time

then i would look and see how many remain to be dealt with

but eliminate all the islamicists that have reportedly found ways into USA, and do this first!

Yes, a straight and fast path, forced if necessary, carrying along all relatives and associated anchors, back across the border to reaffirm their citizenship in their country of origin.

Piss on them all.

Yes....Self deport to your country of origin, and apply at the US consulate there. Reenter when your application is approved.

Hell no. Give them green cards, permanent visas, legal status, etc., but NOT the right to vote.

i would offer citizenship for military service, this has been a path to citizenship for a very long time.,,.. and there are army recruiting commercials running on the radio today.

i would offer some on compassionate basis (genuine disabilities, etc.), if only because we can handle that... but cut off the welfare or foodstamps or obammafones for any able bodied illegals. immigrants are supposed to be self-supporting. and our ancestors who immigrated here did not get welfare, they had to be self-supporting and they were deported if they weren’t

also run real criminal checks to weed out the gang types. or something like that.

not sure that is a full or really the best answer but anyway it looks like a good beginning.... oh yes, the damned red welcome carpet has to be removed from the border!
there’s already enough of a problem we don’t need to invite it to grow even larger, at least not during Obama’s Great Recession

but.... however we may finally agree to handle the Mexican illegals, USA should RIGHT NOW round up and eliminate all the muslim arab whatever terroristas or other illegals that have snuck into America. these are very very dangerous people and they are not coming in here to treat us to chocolate candies
