Two different license plate numbers?

Twitchy.com has been all over the story of NBC’s latest… I was about to say “latest ethical lapse,” but that would imply they have any ethics to begin with. Let’s just call it the latest example of NBC lying so egregiously, even a few other liberal media outlets are calling them out on it. Twitchy deserves our thanks for catching the lie and presenting the truth.
And now the cover-up begins at NBC. Erik Wemple at WaPo has the latest:
MSNBC is reviewing its portrayal of the testimony of Neil Heslin, the father of a Sandy Hook victim, at a legislative hearing in Hartford on Monday. The 33-second video clip in question… features a graphics box saying “Mocked and Loaded. Sandy Hook Victim’s Father Heckled by Gun Rights Advocates.”“We’re reviewing the video in question,” says an MSNBC source.
Smart move, considering that Heslin wasn’t, in fact, heckled. Audience members merely answered a challenge that Heslin posed from the microphone.
Which isn’t stopping “news” outlets like BuzzFeed and HuffPo from continuing to spread the heckling story, because it confirms their biases. It’s too good to check.
So now MSNBC will “review” it, and in a few days they’ll put out a press release saying they’ve taken measures to ensure it won’t happen again, and that’ll be it. If somebody gets fired over it, they won’t tell us who. It’ll be just like their completely opaque response to the deceptively edited George Zimmerman 911 call.
And they’ll continue to do this kind of crap, because they have no incentive to stop. The left will continue to spread lies and disinformation, and it’ll be passed along by willing dupes who can’t or won’t look past their ignorance and lazy prejudices.
All we can do to fight this is tell the truth. Push back. Every day.

Can MSNBC be sued by the people they accused of “heckling”?. That amounts to libel/slander, doesn’t it?

What would be a realistic incentive for news agencies to stop doing these things? No one ever knows until after the fact.

Also, I found out the locally famous news guy was really a tiny tiny little jockey-sized man and he stood 3 feet closer to the camera to make him appear taller than us kids! Haha!

Pretty hard to read the numbers in that second photo, but they don’t look much different from the ones in the first photo.
They’ll falsify National Guard memos, photo shop pictures of Obama skeet shooting when he never has, they’ll edit 911 tapes, they’ll rig explosives on cars to show how they can “spontaneouly” explode, they’ll invent reprehensible condut by the Tea Party, and ignore any and every act of misfeasance, malfeasance, immorality, and incompetence by those they approve of politically. The mischief of the media is surpassing any harm our worst enemies could inflict on our country.
Last time they edited the tape to stir up “passion” there was a “spontaneous” terrorist attack planned for an airliner.
There are a lot of unanswered questions about Sandy Hook.

The media is covering up the details of Sandy Hook if not fabricating stories purely to fit Obama’s agenda. If the truth be known the gunman solely used handguns and not the evil AR-15 “assault rifle” and the school’s vaunted lock down plans utterly failed as the gunman had easy access to the school and classrooms. We may never know if the shooter’s Mother tried in vain to get her son committed or if she had secured her gun collection. Like with the Reichstag fire in 1933, which Hitler used as the pretext to end the liberty of the German people, a scapegoat has been found and the truth buried.
The selectmen's meeting came and the entire building was filled with very angry gun and knife owners that spilled out of the meeting room and into the hall and outside. The cowardly Libs on the board looked like they had crapped their pants/dresses. They turned white as they listened to attendees and their proposal vanished without a trace.

Those two plate numbers look the same to me. I can clearly make out 872-YEO on the back of the car in the bottom picture. The only reason things may look different, is the fact that there is vegetation growing between the camera and the car in the bottom picture, and the bottom picture is just ever so slightly out of focus.
It still looks like the front to me. With vegetation across the 8 in the first segment, and pixelization of the numbers due to the slight out-of-focus nature of the original.
