ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. - Fear of the unknown about what could happen with gun laws is driving people to gun shops nationwide.
"It's just been crazy, absolutely crazy. If I had to guess I'd say between five and ten times the business some days," Frontiersman Gun Shop owner Kory Krause said Tuesday night.
....
Krause says anytime shootings like that happen people come to his shop in droves.
"In the last 30 days we did, we sold well over 1,000 guns," Krause said.

I’m not going to buy another gun, because they’re just going to take it away, eventually. I’ll just stick with the one gun I have...
Free market at work. supply/demand. Thanks Obamma.
I can only shoot one gun at a time, but I like to think of myself as a community organizer.
I would suggest they are not buying guns because of the Newtown shooting; but because of the Obama Administration’s manipulation of the crisis.
C’mon, Obama....You are wasting time...Ban all those evil guns...Every criminal in the USA is depending on you.....
If you haven’t been stocking up for the last 4 years, you weren’t paying attention. If you’re buying guns and ammo now you’re paying the price.

Most especially the criminals in Washington who, sans our guns, would soon be in a position to have their way with all the rest of us.
Not in MY LIFETIME!!
Just think how much the economy would have shrunk but for all these gun/ammo sales.
I bought ammo after obozo was initially elected in 2008. Then last year I got into reloading. And now I have a furnace and the molds just in case I should need them. Never thought I would but with the recent push by the antis, who knows? Glad I bought what I did when I did.
No regrets.
What if the chineese want the land they own here nationalized ...in exchange for some of our debt ...but only if the people are disarmed 1st?

Bingo! I've been stocking up ever since that c^^#$%#@@r Bill Clinton was President. I have the guns and the ammo I want / need.
True, but I have a wife and three daughters who are still un-armed. So, I guess I will buy a few more...
Yes, that was my point. Arming others is a force multiplier.
My 12-year-old's favorite weapon is an AR-15 with a 24" bull barrel and 6-24x scope. She can hit a 4" target every shot at 200 yds, and get off 30 rds a minute of aimed fire. I would not give good odds to anyone crossing open ground against her.
My other child prefers an M1 carbine, while I'm a fan of bolt-actions for long range precision and a Garand or FAL for busy work.
I don't plan on putting the women folk on point, but they won't be left cowering if I'm taken out.

I’m frothing for some range time, but I feel like any rounds in paper targets these days could be a waste of precious ammo!
Never felt that way before....

Yes, I’ve been floored by the lack of ammo. I did get 100 rounds of .22LR Remington today at Wal Mart, ($17.97 per 50).
They had about 1000 rounds of that available, but beyond that it was slim pickens. As slim as I’ve ever seen.
