On today's Morning Joe, host Joe Scarborough said that a Senior Fellow at the Independent Women's Forum testifying in favor of assault rifles looked "like a jackass."
Gayle Trotter, who holds undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Virginia and is the co-founder of a D.C. law firm, testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday. She argued that having an assault rifle could help a woman defend herself and her children against intruders. Immediately after playing a clip of her testimony, Scarborough said: "if you go out and try to defend assault weapons, then you end up looking like a jackass." Mika Brezezinski agreed: "I'm sorry, but that's true."

Im offended! Somehow the name of the show Morning joe which has comparisons of joe (the dolt) in the morning and the first cup of coffee in the morning degrades the most important first cup in the morning to a cup of slury left behind at a tobacco chewing seminar.

“Jackass”, eh? Why are liberals so vicious and just plain mean and nasty like this? I understand disagreeing with someone’s position on an issue, but why do liberals have to personally degrade and insult those who they disagree with? Why are liberals so haughty and egotistical that they look down on anyone who utters so much as a whisper if disagreement with their beliefs? As much as the libs say conservatives are mean and nasty, I have to say that the most insulting and vicious people I have ever met are liberals.
