I don’t know what he expected quite frankly. The only they championed him in the first place is because he supposedly shared some of their goals and he was a useful idiot.
For this one and only time, I applaud the liberals for trashing him.
The local station talking heads and the Omaha World Herald pretty much support him based mostly on the fact that he is from Nebraska and that he, like many other veterans did a tour of duty in combat as an enlisted man. Tim McVeigh did a combat tour as an EM, did that make him “eminently” qualified.
UpChuck made his arrogance and unsuitability clear when he was first sent to the senate and publicly proclaimed that he was their to represent HIS views rather than his constituents who elected him.
Der Fuehrer nominated him because he know he will do his bidding like any good little National Socialist.
