Today, the Senate Armed Services Committee begins its consideration of the nomination of Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense. The former Republican Senator from Nebraska is a combat veteran, but has little other experience in America's national security infrastructure. His nomination faces strong resistance, due largely to past positions he has taken with respect to Israel and Iran. In response to this criticism, the Pentagon has undertaken an unprecedented lobbying campaign in support of Hagel.

And the lobbying effort is being paid for by the taxpayer.
It makes me wonder if Hagel is gay. This administration is all about being gay.
We’ve been thoroughly infiltrated and subverted, peeps. Sorry to be so alarmist and tinfoil.....but that’s the way I feel. I can see it and feel it on a daily basis out in the public. NoONE and I mean NO ONE is joyful at the moment. Has anyone else noticed this?
After his performance today, he should fit in nicely with the rest of the DC idiots and morons.
If the current bunch at the Pentagon is lobbying for him...the military and us are screwed!
The Pentagon is all about being gay too.
The Pentagon has been compromised by islamists.
The left have been imbedded in the pentagon for awhile and now they are in charge .
They plan to destroy it
Yep. Opened FR this morning and just glanced down the headlines. Fighting the infiltration of gays into the Boy Scouts, the 20 million illegals that Congress wants to make citizens, trying to take our guns and 2nd Amendment rights away, can’t pray anywhere, Colorado students saying the pledge of allegiance to Allah, government taking over our healthcare, Israel fighting for its life, people in North Korea eating their children, some dingbat reporter in Washington not having kids to lessen the carbon footprint, the continued cover-up of Benghazi.
Then a bright spot - my eleven-year-old grandson called on his way to school with his father just to say hello, that he loved me and could I please make enough of my special double chocolate cookies next time so he can take them to his friends at school because none of their grandma’s make cookies any more.

*choked up*
The bureaucrats want a compliant puppet.
This country clearly has a death wish.
Yep. If I was President I’d clean out the brass at the Pentagon. I’d conduct audits and if ONE DIME of federal money was averted to personal use I’d court martial them, drum them out, and take away their pensions.
Agreed. CIA too has been infiltrated. The State Dept. has been Commie for years. If 0bama has wide-sweeping security clearances, all the agencies are finished anyway.
clearly general dempsey’s pentagon is the WEAK supporting being led by the WEAKER...dempsey looks like deadhead from a used car lot
The Pentagon and West Point. Infiltrated indeed.
If we ever get another conservative in the White House and take over Congress, there's going to be a LOT of work to do. Kind of like renovating a slum.
The Pentagon is answering in their backing of Hagel. Why expect anything less under Obama?
Remember this?
“ABC News’ Luis Martinez reports: The Army has disinvited Christian evangelist Franklin Graham from speaking at the Pentagons National Day of Prayer service on May 6 because of his past controversial comments about Islam. In 2001, the son of the evangelist Billy Graham described Islam as evil and said last year that he found it to be a very violent religion. Army spokesman Col. Tom Collins confirmed today, that at the Armys request, the Pentagon Chaplains Office had contacted Graham to withdraw the invitation extended to him to be the main speaker at the Pentagons observance of the National Day of Prayer. Speaking of Grahams past comments, Collins said, Army leadership became aware of the issue and immediately recognized it was problematic...”
