Where’s the senator?
A day after allegations swirled that he cavorted with underage hookers in the Dominican Republic, Sen. Robert Menendez played a cat-and-mouse game with reporters.
The camera crews parked outside the New Jersey Democrat’s office Thursday never got a glimpse of him.
The usually accessible senator managed to avoid reporters almost all day, even as he cast six Senate votes and attended a lunch with Vice President Biden and other Democrats to talk about gun control.
The Daily News finally caught up with Menendez as he ducked into an out-of-the-way Capitol elevator with visitors from New Jersey. But he was tight-lipped.

Nothing’s going to happen. A few conservatives might get worked up. Talk radio will hyperventilate. If he was a conservative or republican, this would be the biggest story in the country and he would already have resigned in shame. However, he’s a lib, a dem, and a minority so there’s nothing to report and no shame to be felt. The average voter knows more about what Jennifer Anniston had for lunch than this. In six months, this will be old news so he’ll never have to talk about it. In six years, he’ll be re-elected by a comfortable margin. And the decline goes on...

He has lost all credibility. His judgement is suspect, he can no longer serve the people of New Jersey.
Menendez must resign.
