For the first time, a majority of Americans feel that the government threatens their individual rights and freedoms, according to a survey released on Thursday.
Fifty-three percent of the 1,502 adults surveyed Jan. 9-13 by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press responded that they believe that the federal government threatens their personal rights and freedoms.
The Pew survey found that 43 percent disagreed.
76 percent of conservative Republicans said they feel threatened by Washington, compared with 62 percent three years ago, Pew found. Now!

Yet a mere 3 months ago, Obama was re-elected. I heard on Rush yesterday that Obama’s approval numbers are 60%. Schizophrenia.
How many of this 53% voted zero? How many have the brains to realize what/who brought this on?
There is a serious disconnect between the political environment and public opinion. If one were to look exclusively at opinion on the issues - economic, government overreach, etc, Obama would have been wiped out by 10 points.

These days, I post very rarely!!! As a long time student of history, in a nutshel,l we are being lied to every single by Obama, etc. Whether it is the economy, unemployment, the 2nd amendment, Obama approval numbers, foreign policy, terrorism, etc. We are now living in the world of Barack “Hitler” Hussein Obama. The American people are just plain old sheep headed for the slaughter.
It’s happened in history before, and will continue on as long as there are Obama types that love control, power and tyranny!!! Take your pick....Persia, Greece, Egypt, Rome, Russia, Germany, italy, etc. Facism/Communism, it’s all the same thing. No sense ranting about it. We failed, our country has failed, The insane and heartless now run our nation!!! There is no real opposition to Obama. Only Texas Senator, Ted Cruz has the onions to call him the evil person that he really is!!! The rest of the Republicans are just as bad as Obama and his thugs. America can no longer help America. Only God can help the cause of freedom.
