This morning, the White House released a photo of President Obama shooting a gun:

The picture on the Weekly Standard is the only one the shows the pixelating. The better quality shots on other thread do not show this.................nevermind.

My Dad was a skeet shooter...(clay pigeon)
he used a double barrelled shot gun...
I never participated myself but I went to a lot of competitions with him...
Them pigeons were slung out into the air...

There is some indication that he left for Camp David on August 4, 2012, late in the afternoon or early evening. Skim through this google search:

And he was wearing different clothes, but that isn’t important, I suppose.
I wonder if the range at Camp David is really so close to the road in the background.
wait, isn’t this suppose to be a photo taken right he pulled the trigger? yet he stands there looking like he’s about to shoot....
Looking at the end of the barrel (top) it might be a blank fire adapter, as some here suggested.
A barrel reduction sleeve makes no sense with the barrel obviously ported on the right side.
I have never seen such a blank fire adapter, but there is definately something odd about the barrel end. Too big to be a choke sleeve.
Looks like his cheek would get bruised pretty quickly if he holds the weapon that way.
It just goes to show what an amateur he is. He doesn’t know how to properly stand when shooting a shotgun.
Also, the clay pigeon is on the way down, that’s why his gun is almost parallel with the ground; he tracked its flight and pulled the trigger waaay late. Rookie move.

It’s a double barrel, over-under, looks like a Browning Citori.
Actually, he’s probably lined up about right for a pigeon from the low tower, isn’t he?
Nah, he’s just not a true sportsman. He shots the poor little things while they’re still sitting on the nest.
I’m not a skeet shooter but don’t you usually wear a vest or a pouch of some kind to keep your shells in? Unless you’re a real wussy that has to have someone else reload for...oh, never mind.
I just see the big deal about this. If I was a powerful man like obama, seems like this whole photoshoot could be arrange in the matter of an hour. They fly me over to Camp David, give me a 3 minute shooting lesson, and shoot a round, and then publish a picture of it.
I think it shows how thinned he is, when people started making fun of him about skeet shooting. Another reason to think he is very dangerous. Can’t take jokes well.
A BFA would serve no purpose on a double barreled shotgun.
Wonder what a real president and skillful arms-men wood think of the photos....
