WATCH THE LANGUAGE!!!

“partners in the pursuit of “common sense” gun control reform.”

So now it’s “gun control reform”, not just “gun control”.

I agree the second is correct, but that’s not why the media and liberals changed tactics...they obviously have some focus group results.

So, the Mayor might end up doing business with China, buying AK’s -—

The private citizens of Minneapolis probably spend several times that same amount of money on guns and ammunition each year.

Companies would be stupid to listen to such threats, these liberal mayors have nowhere else to go.

Bold position? GTFO.

Go buy ammo from your Chicom buddies that support American gun bans.

Hey, I’ve got a better idea. Let’s just buy up all the ammo so Mpls can’t get any!
Ok, what’s next?

Wish I owned S&W so that I could refuse their business.

Before being elected mayor Rybak worked in journalism, business and activism. The first mayor of a large U.S. city to endorse Barack Obama's 2008 campaign for President, Rybak is one of five Vice Chairs of the Democratic National Committee.[2]

Sorry, no sale.

This may be a simple instance of political corruption. The mayor will look at each company’s contributions to his political opposition (the NRA) and determine whether the company will get a city purchase order. It is an attack on the NRA performed by threatening the NRA’s supporters.

Hey, if you eat at Bob’s restaurant, I might not be buying my next car from you. Maybe you should reconsider where you eat...whadya think?

Unvarnished, old-fashioned corruption.

Rybak is still angling for a spot in the BO White House. Widely rumored here before the election, now confirmed by the degree of butt snorkling Mr. Mayor is doing.

Glad I don’t live in his cesspool no mo’.

The primary vendors are Remington, Federal Ammunition and Smith & Wesson. The Mayor says he wants to dig a little deeper into the backgrounds of those companies.

It is unlikely that Remington, Federal and Smith & Wesson would not be able to re-direct the merchandise requested on all orders shipping to the City of Minneapolis to other customers if Mayor R.T. Rybak is "not comfortable" with doing business with them.

He should submit all of his questions in writing to Remington, Federal Ammunition and Smith & Wesson.

It will only take about two years for Remington, Federal Ammunition and Smith & Wesson to free up enough time from fulfilling their current respective backlog of orders to customers that are NOT "reconsidering doing business with them" to respond with their respective answers.

At that time the good Mayor R.T. Rybak can decide if he is "comfortable" doing business with Remington, Federal Ammunition and Smith & Wesson.

In the interim they can make do with what the United States Border Patrol has to work with.

Here is an idea, tell the mayor to go find different suppliers.

There is no law that a company must do business with the government.

All firearm and ammunition manufacturers should refuse to do business with any government entity hostile to their existence.

Sometimes you just have to fire your customers. I’ve done it. A lot of you here have done it. It needs to happen in this circumstance.

If they want to oppose us in gun control reform, we might want to reconsider doing business with them."

I got a better idea, the manufacturers should blacklist the city and all direct suppliers to same. Let 'em pay a two middlemen markup and wait for parts and service.

If they don't like that, they can buy from Russia or China.

Dear Remington, Federal, and Smith & Wesson,
I am a member of a group (NRA) that buys a hell of a lot
more guns and ammo each year, than the city of MPLS.
Should you decide to go along with this poser Rybak’s
threats, and become part of the problem, we can shop else-where.

Rybak has too much time on his hands. A recall effort might improve his focus on important matters.

I support Minneapolis Mayor R. T. Rybak. The city should drop Remington, Federal, and Smith & Wesson. Instead he can contract with the Chinese to meet Minneapolis’ needs. Oh, wait, there's a Clinton-era EO that says we can't do business with them. I guess Rybak had better see his buddy Barack on that. Or, he could contact Vladimir Putin for help. One communist should want to help another. Do China and Russia provide spare parts, product support, and training for the Minneapolis PD? I wonder what it would cost to reequip the MPD with Combloc arms and ammo? Rybak could feel the love!

Fine. ATK ahould immediately cut off all orders to MLPS law enfrocement. The civilian market is still in panic mode and would easily eat up that extra million in ammo.

When the cops run out of bullets and no one will fix their guns, maybe Commie dirtbag RT will finally get the hint.
