American Airlines Treated Me Like a Dog [Celebtard Demands "Emotional Support" Pet Fly With Her]
TMZ ^

Posted on 02/04/2013 2:34:02 AM PST by SoFloFreeper

Kristin Chenoweth says she was the victim of a screaming, angry gate agent who bullied her and embarrassed her when she tried to board an American Airlines flight with her emotional support dog ... and now the airline is begging for her forgiveness.

TMZ has learned, the altercation went down this week as Kristin boarded a flight from Dallas to L.A.. We're told Kristin had her emotional support dog in tow -- as she always does -- when she was confronted by a gate agent supervisor who claimed Kristin didn't have the proper paperwork to bring the dog on board.

“Sorry, but I think 99% of these “emotional support” PETS are created from selfish gasbags who get DOCTORS to write letters that these animals are “medical or mental necessities” so that their “patients” can indulge their pooches and kitties.”

Am I one?

I long for the day when all these nervous people meet my emotional-support snake.

No.

That was Alice the Ball Python.

At 7+ feet and 20 pounds, Bob would pretty hard to lose, even if he did decide to let go of me.

;D

Didn’t think so...looked a little large for the ‘nooks and crannies’ found around the house...

That was the worst movie ever.

All of the snakes were CGI *except* for the Ball Pythons that were “charging menacingly” down the aisle in a couple scenes.

Anybody who runs screaming from a Ball Python needs their heads/nads examined.

90 wasted minutes I’ll never get back.

Do you want to meet mine?

I have an “emotional support” Kimber Ultra Carry.

Can i get a doctor’s note to let me take it on a plane?

That was USAirways. And the woman also had a note from her doctor. ‘Emotional support’ dogs are NOT service dogs. They should not be treated the same and they DON’T belong on airplanes. If someone is so emotionally unstable or fragile that they need a dog to keep their emotions in check, they just might to stay home.

People who need emotional support dogs are obviously unstable - possibly dangerous, & should require a full security inspection EVERY TIME they fly.

Beyond that, if I, a commoner, had brought an emotional support dog to fly with me, I’d still be sitting at the gate as the plane flew away, with no apology from anyone.

He's also my personal masseur and hair stylist.

Beyonce has to pay for tickets for her entourage, but you could bring yours on a "disabled" claim ;-).

Aren’t you two just a font of human kindness?

“If someone is so emotionally unstable or fragile that they need a dog to keep their emotions in check, they just might to stay home.”

Because I spent 5 years being molested as a kid and have GAD and PTSD because of it, I should lock myself in my house and never come out?

Because of severe neurological problems from a near fatal injury that resulted in permanent balance issues, the dog has been trained to ‘brace’ to keep me from falling, I should give up and never go for a walk?

You obviously have no comprehension of what these -legitimately- required animals do for their owners.

Who died and made you God?

Tom says there’s also “Snakes on a Cartesian Plane.”

I wonder if the proliferation of “emotional support animals” is related to the outlawing of smoking almost everywhere. People who once could have eased their anxieties - about flying, for example - with a cigarette no longer have that option.

He’s great as a masseur but really sucks as a stylist.

As you may have noticed, my bangs were ‘styled’ into a nightmare by his attempt at being a hat.

[he’s also “over friendly” which I’m sure my fellow passengers would not appreciate]

;]

My snakes stay home unless I’m going to an educational event or a vet.

That is the most insensitive thing I’ve ever heard.

Stick her and the dog in a crate and let them ride together in baggage.

For an added bonus it will solve that emotional problem at the same time.

She won’t demand to ride with her dog a second time.

If it is, a pox upon them.

Take a damn Valium or get drunk and get over it.

These programs started as Godsends to people with social anxieties and numerous physical disabilities which seriously impaired their ability to function *but* did not qualify them for very expensive, professionally trained *service* dogs.

They could train their own dog, go through the extensive medical hoops necessary to have one ‘prescribed’ and have something resembling a normal life again.

Then, the takers and leeches found loopholes and it all went to hell.

If the *privilege* is ever revoked, it will be those people who ruined it for those who truly need it and do not cheat the system.

[and yeah, I’ve got an attitude about them...military personnel are being affected by the abuses, too]
