Is the U.S. government getting ready for a war we don’t know about?
And, if that’s why Washington is stockpiling massive amounts of ammunition (hollow points, by the way), why is Homeland Security doing the buying instead of the Defense Department?
I have some theories.
Many of you will remember a story I broke a long time ago – about presidential candidate Barack Obama’s little-noticed announcement that, if elected in 2008, he wanted to create a “civilian national security force” as big, as strong and as well-funded as the Defense Department.
Here’s what he actually said at a campaign stop in Colorado July 2, 2008: “We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

Maybe it’s time for a review: •He made the campaign promise to build this $439 billion domestic army, but all references to the initiative were inexplicably deleted from the copy of his speech posted on his website while others mysteriously disappeared from transcripts of the speech distributed by the campaign. That was strange – and ominous. •At the time, I had never heard anyone use the phrase “civilian national security force” before. But I did a little homework and found out where it originated. It was first proposed by then Bush administration Defense Secretary Robert Gates.

If that were the case, they would be purchasing all calibers and types of ammo.
Unless I’m mistaken, the billions of rounds purchased by DHS are all .40 caliber hollowpoint pistol food.

There’s an article out on the web site Atlantic Wire http://www.theatlanticwire.com/ explaining how ______ can use drones to kill Americans. The “guidelines” are very vague.
Also, keep in mind it was W who created the DHS.

I’ve been thinking about this all morning after reading another article about DHS soliciting bids to buy even more ammo. Clearly they are EXPECTING civil unrest.
So, I started thinking, “WHY are they expecting it? What makes people take to the streets? It usually involves their money.”
The country IS broke, so I wonder if the plan is to sieze all bank accounts, retirement accounts, etc.
No need to “sieze” anything.
Just declare a “holiday” where none of your transactions work.

Sounds like this ammo will be at specific places in abundance, if the need truly arose.
Yes. I do agree with that.
And if one lives in the right kind of (God-fearing, U.S.-loving) area, it might even be swiftly, efficiently placed in the right kind of hands.
We can at least hope.
They want to have all the ammo so when you want some there’s none left to buy. It’s like newspapers who contract with a writer whose philosophy they don’t agree with. They will print certain of his/her articles, but have the option to spike others.
The phony sociopathic narcissist has a plot to really surprise us this time.
Oregon seems to be all out of 9mm ammo at least in the portland area.
