I searched for this question and now i won’t have to ask it. I notice no answers.
I find it hard to believe its enforceable.

Oral agreements are binding, at least in some jurisdictions. I don’t know about NY where presumably Trump would sue the pig. In this case, Maher made his bargain (with its very gross implication) on national TV. Trump surely has his witnesses to the oral agreement.

I doubt Trump would hire a lawyer who didn’t know precisely what he could and could not do. He wouldn’t want to file a suit only to have it dismissed on motion.

IF Trump proceeds and wins, I hope it’s the charity of HIS choice and not Maher’s.
