The White House is legally required to submit a budget to Congress on the first Monday in February of every year

Then lock Barack Obama up in the hoosegow.

"No budget. 18 Trillion dollar deficits.
No accountability. Millions out of work not even counted.
Lies, lies, more lies and no documentation OR tranparency.
The requirements are stupid words dwarfed by our immense power.
What difference does it make?"

Laws and regulations are for the little people. The usurper is above the law and we continue to let him slide.

As I posted at Twitchy earlier: So... if Obama comes out on the first Monday in Feb. and doesn’t produce a budget, does that mean 6 more years of recession?

Why even bother bringing up the issue anymore?

Obama and the democrats have not had a budget passed in the last 3 years, and nobody has held them accountable, not even the republicans. Mostly, the American people aren’t even paying attention to the budget as an issue, and therefore, they can’t be made to show any concern.

Oobama and the democrats will talk about the budget and deficits and the national debt, and will will make promises, but, none of those promises will become reality when they know that they have 4 more years to do the same as in the first 4 years of Obama. No budgets, more spending, and more debt. Who’s going to stop them?

Going forward, no budget proposals, will have become the new normal.

Nothing here to see. Move on.

Blacks on welfare don’t do budgets.

Obama is the most expensive EBT thug in the country.

If it is legally required, what are the penalties?

A law with no teeth is not a law at all.

Too bad the laws that constrain Congress never seem to have criminal penalties.

I thin I finally figured out what’s going on and how the conservatives can break the pattern if they have the will: Obama is holding out for a determination of how much revenue he can squeeze, then he’ll decide where he’ll spend it. this is exactly bass-ackwards. If he wants to make a case to Congress and to the American people, he must first lay out his spending plan. But that’s obviously what he does not want to reveal. No opposition party leadeship should ever consider any type of additional revenue without knowing where the administration plans to spend it. But Obama does not want to commit, and that is why we have a stalemate.
