Former congressman and libertarian icon Ron Paul tweeted a startling reaction to the death of SEAL sniper Chris Kyle on Monday:
'Chris Kyle's death seems to confirm that "he who lives by the sword dies by the sword." Treating PTSD at a firing range doesn't make sense'

Ron Paul couldn’t qualify to be the toilet bowl for any marine.
Shove it, Paul.
Up your smelly Obama.
I searched. What can I say?
The man is too deluded to notice he sounds just like your average DUmpster poster. Their reaction was nearly identical.
That slimy nutcase just keeps up his lunacy.
The nine minute rule would only allow it twice, although if it’s on different sidebars there could be a separate rule for that.
Comforting words from a physician.
Rather blasphemous distortion of Matthew 26:52 also.
Ron Paul 1488, the Stormfront candidate, accepted money and an endorsement from white nationalists.
Yeah, I do say the “lives by the sword, dies by the sword” comment was “insensitive” — to use worn-out liberal-speak.
But he does raise a good point as to why is he helping treat PTSD at a shooting range. Anybody have any ideas?
AKA Dr. Ron Paul Jekyll and the evil Edward Hyde. Looks like the Hyde personality has taken over again.
WTF is “Ron Paul” implying?
That Chris Kyle brought his death on himself by choosing to serve this nation and do what it asked of him?
“Ron Paul” is not fit to speak this hero’s name.
Below is from today’s Patriot Post..
“Chris Kyle, RIP
Former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, a Patriot from Texas and author of the outstanding book, “American Sniper,” was killed Saturday while assisting fellow veterans suffering from PTSD. Chris served with the SEAL Team 3 Sniper Element Charlie platoon, and was the most lethal sniper in U.S. history, with 160 confirmed kills and another 95 probables. He was known to his enemies as Al-Shaitan Ramad (The Devil of Ramadi).
In 2008, near Sadr City, Chris neutralized an RPG-carrying insurgent at more than 2,000 meters with his Lapua Magnum .338 PGM. During his four combat tours, Chris was shot twice and survived six IED explosions. He left military service three years ago after earning two Silver Stars, five Bronze Stars with Valor, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and one Navy and Marine Corps Commendation. He has devoted much of the last three years to working with fellow vets suffering from PTSD.
Chris leaves behind his wife Taya, two children, and a long list of family and friends. He was a tireless defender of Liberty and the Second Amendment, and he will be sorely missed”
I’m expecting the Paultards to show up here anytime........
Ron Paul reminds me of one of those Jim Baker type TV evangelists . Some of the stuff he says almost makes sense but after a few minutes of listening you realize he is just crazy as a moonbat.
Got this this morning from an email Freeper friend and I had alredy said tomy husband this was a job coming from Washington..Watch the video..
This last statement came from the email friend back to me
” Don’t forget the Seals killed in that helicopter fiasco because OBayMe exposed them. Smells to me. Then there’s Benghazi and Syria. All of it stinks!”
—Im expecting the Paultards to show up here anytime........—
Doubtful. They know when their boy said something undefendable. They’ll just ignore this.
This is the kind of stuff Ron Paul thinks. It isn't a surprise coming from the man who thinks the traitor Bradley Manning is a hero and a patriot.
The paulbots here need to seriously re-evaluate their support of this loathsome worm.
I sure hope Rand disavows this sickening crap. He needs to make very clear that he is not his father, and be willing to offend the paultard cultists and conspiracy theorists that worship his father.
Not really startling, I’m afraid. It’s typical Ron Paul.
Paul seems to be in bed with the left-wing anti-war crowd.
But here’s how I feel.
Chris Kyle and all of our military deserve to be part of actions that are fought in the tradition of Generals like Patton and LeMay.
The United States has been fighting in police actions under the rules of international law since World War II.
Our soldiers fight under “rules of engagement” with their hands tied behind their back.
The ‘wars’ in Iraq and Afghanistan are United Nations sanctioned police actions.
Military units of various nations are now used to police the world for “world order” and not to defeat enemies completely on battlefields.
Iran now has a Shia government in Iraq under its thumb and Pakistan harbors the Taliban fighting in Afghanistan.
Those nations (Iran and Pakistan) should have gotten the Patton-LeMay treatment, but won’t and never will with the Democrat and RINO Republican leadership in the Nixon-Carter-Bush-Clinton-Obama tradition.
We are fighting UN wars now, not American wars and to oppose UN wars causes RINO’s to question patriotism.
I’ve got my patriotism and want my soliders to fight for America, not the UN force in Afghanistan called ISAF.
He is a scummy little self important prick.
Okay, some of you insane Ron Paul supporters. Come to this thread and try to defend it.
Everyone, bookmark this link. Every time a Paulist comes on here this link should be posted, from now until forever.
I like Rand Paul very and think he might make an excellent President; however, sometimes, I pause and wonder how far the apple has fallen from the tree. Hopefully, very far in this case.
Right on. See my post #25.
Classless comment from RP.
This, more than anything, says what Ron Paul is about. His followers think he is a peacenik, but there seem to be only two countries’ wars he despises: the USA and Israel. He is no patriot. He may have been at one time, but he went off the rails.
Ron Paul has a defective brain.
Simple searches are the best. There are many different headlines, often for the same article since some papers like to write their own.
Think of one or two words that almost everyone would put in the title.
Also, search with the upper right hand corner search and set it to 'title.'
What about He who lives by the fake eyebrow...?
“But he does raise a good point as to why is he helping treat PTSD at a shooting range. Anybody have any ideas?”
Yes... this AM on Fox & Friends, a close friend of the XNavy Seal mentioned that it helps tremendously to assist the person with PTSD to accompany him/her to do something familiar. He said it’s like taking an X basketball star to shoot hoops. You want to put the person back into an area of his life that he was trained skillfully for and that he would have been comfortable doing. The man I saw this AM was very sincere in that statement, as they asked him exactly your question.
Ron Paul has always been capable of a degree of nuttiness. This kind of response isn't eccentric. It's insane.
What a stupid thing for him to say...
What a stupid thing for ANYONE to say.
He was a Seal, not a ninja you nutbar.
If true, time for Ron to go back home and get his blanket.
Find a nice chair and make commets to his dog.
Oh man, that’s deep!
Some people have to live “by the sword” to protect those who don’t.The sad thing is he is kinda right, you join a high-risk occupation and you are quite likely to die from it,the way he expressed it was just callous.
ROFL. One must use their imagination for that one!
ROFL. One must use their imagination for that one!
“he who lives by the sword dies by the sword.”
If true, then I predict his cause of death will be stupidity.
In one single utterance this stupid little prick has insulted everyman and woman who has fought, bled and died for America since April 1775 to Afganistan today. He has insulted a brave and fearsome America soldier who made it possible for this waste of human tissue to live as he does and who has sent many a worthless Saracen bastard off to “Alpha Whiskey Romeo’’(Allahs Waiting Room’’) I’m going to get this pricks number in DC and let his staff know what FReeper “jmacusa thinks of his worthless hide.
Hey Ron-go back to doing what you love-slandering Israel.
The Little Martian is hoping someone, anyone will remember he really didn’t fall off the planet, just onto it.
I have certainly supported some of the ideas Ron Paul has championed in the past, and some aspects of the libertarian point of view. While I'm not "insane", there is nothing to defend in Ron Paul's comment. Its just insensitive, stupid, and completely wrong, and reflects very badly on Mr. Paul. He should be ashamed of himself, and if he had any honor or common sense he'd promptly apologize and retract his idiotic comment.
I can't imagine anybody but some troll would try to defend such an indefensible and stupid comment.
Hard sell even here. ABO was the cry but we couldnt even beat the worst president in my life, and I remember them all since FDR.
Ron, he who lives by the lie, dies by the lie.
At this point, the kindest thing I, or anyone, can say about Ron Paul is that I hope his family make sure he keeps his neurologist appointments and takes his Aricept.
