It takes the whole idea of healthy and godly male leadership and chucks it into the trash for the illusions imparted through a bent ritual involving penises and anuses. So what if 99% of troops stay nonhomo, they are going to have to put up with the loud and proud ones that are at jamborees and such. The world’s going insane. I hope every nonhomo scout in the country gives them a piece of their mind.
It would be better if the BSA leadership took the organization through a bankruptcy workout, or even had to close its doors forever, than to give the straight-haters the satisfaction of taking such a proud banner captive.
Better that everyone understand that the homosexual movement destroyed the BSA out of hatred and spite for having stood their ground against one of the most benighted and befouled movements in human history.
I'm concerned about the "pragmatic businessman" types on the BSA board, because now it's about symbolism, and they have to realize that their job now -- like Barrett Travis at the Alamo -- is to uphold an ideal in the face of evil men, not to seek a compromise or to "preserve the organization".
It is better to be morally straight than a moral liar, and they must make that clear now, no matter what.
