The Washington Post reports that the White House has released a photo of President Obama firing a weapon in what it claims is an exercise in skeet shooting that took place at Camp David sometime in August.
Some of the president's supporters are making fun of people who have cast doubt that Obama likes to blast away at clay pigeons, an exercise that hitherto has never been revealed. One should not, according to these supporters, be suspicious of photos that show the president using fire arms in the middle of a debate about gun control.
But the president and his supporters seem to be missing the point. The picture of Obama firing apparently level with the ground at what is claimed to be a clay pigeon flying through the air has all the potential of being the subject of ridicule...The Obama with the gun photo could become his version of the Dukakis in the tank video.

That gun looks like a Browning Citori XS Skeet so it is more likely a 20 gauge.
For the photo-Op they probably pulled the shot from a shell and let him shoot just the wad so he wouldn't get a bruise.
It looks as if he was coached by someone who didn't know any more about skeet shooting than Obama himself.
Or the coach was someone who was happy to let the photo show what a pretender Obama really is.

What we have now is what we would have had if the electorate had given duh-kakis a pass on the a55hat tank moment.....
Notice how high the buttstock is against his shoulder, only part of it is pressed against his shoulder. That could hurt if there was any recoil to speak of. Somethin’ ain’t right.
I think the most reasonable explanation we came up with is that it's an AKC "popper" used for dog trials.
No lead, just a wad and I believe a very small powder charge. I have shot them in training (in an AKC hunt test the gunners in the field shoot them, I was shooting over my dog and boy was SHE surprised - they're loud compared to HRC primer loads!) and they are very, very smoky (dirty your gun up something fierce) but they have zero recoil.
Which would explain the upright stance, the lack of reaction despite having half the butt not contacting his shoulder, and the gobs of smoke (although I'm still a little surprised that there's zero smoke coming from the left side MagnaPort).
If I were working the skeet range, I wouldn't give this poser live ammo either!
I still can't figure the right side porting puff and zero from left. You would think that by now the WhiteyHut photoshoppers would know they need to know “SOMETHING” about their subject to maintain plausibility.

A caribou hunt with Sarah Palin would be great, but since Obama is so good at hitting moving targets how about a pheasant hunt in South Dakota with Congresswoman Kristi Noem (R-SD)? Noem is an avid hunter.
But the SOB won’t let his boy...Trayvon to play football..because it’s too dangerous..but he will okay women to walk point in combat zones.

Hardly the same. Dukakis because of his picture didn’t become President. Obama will have 8 years as President. The picture should have been published in 2008 and then MAYBE you can compare the two. Obama will get zero negative from this picture unfortunately.
Oh, man - it just occurred to me: they did photoshop it, but what they did was remove the left side barrel port smoke so that the full barrel would be shown..... so there would be no confusion that it is what it is.... lol..... IF that is true - which I’m not claiming yet - then, what a bunch of clowns....
These liberals in particular are ADHD on having their “reach exceed their grasp”.
