It is hard to imagine the presidential field without a woman contender, and here’s one to keep your eye on: Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano. Napolitano is quietly making it known that she is considering the race, and there is reason to take her seriously.

Interesting that the writer says that it is hard to imagine the 2016 presidential field without a woman candidate.

I’ve heard some talking heads say that the Romney/Ryan ticket of 2012 could be the last one with 2 white men. In this age of celebrating diversity, two white men sends the wrong message per liberal theology.

Now, a white man is acceptable on the ticket if he’s an open homosexual. In that case, the liberal worship of homosexuality would override skin color and gender.

But then again, liberalism trumps all. If strong conservative women such as Michele Bachmann or Sarah Palin emerge as 2016 candidates, it will not be acceptable to the liberals.

Look, say what you want about Obama - he has a certain charisma that works with his base of low information voters...even if it turns us off.

Janet Napolitano has negative charisma.

They are going to have to turn to somebody reasonably good-looking and reasonably non-white and reasonably experienced to win in 2016. And I don't know who that would be, unless they try to draft a candidate like Colin Powell.
