If the scouts decide to allow, as a affirmative policy, homosexuals to work with scouts I will return my Eagle badge, resign my membership in the Eagle Scout Association and discontinue support of scouting. This is not intended to be a cry and go home act. If BSA allows homosexuals to act as adult leaders that's their prerogative and I support that 100%.

I simply believe that the core principals of scouting will have to be radically changed in order to accommodate the homosexual agenda. That agenda is not consistent with my beliefs and I will not support or be a part of an organization that so compromises it's core values as to completely change its character and mission.

By definition scouts will have to be taught that homosexuality is an acceptable life style and is equivalent to heterosexual lifestyle in order to foster and preserve respect for homosexual leaders and scouts. This will be in conflict with the teachings of a large number of charter organizations (churches) that teach homosexuality is immoral. As such there will be incredible tension between charter organizations that allow homosexuals and those that don't. In the end, scouting will become just another organization with no moral compass, lost in the wilderness of diversity and political correctness.
