Nobel Prize winning “economist” Paul Krugman spoke at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue in Washington, D.C. last week. During the Q&A session following the lecture, an audience member asked him about the rising national debt.
Earlier in the evening, Krugman had already vocalized his satisfaction at President Obama’s apparent lack of concern over the exploding cumulative deficit. However, in a moment of brutal honesty, the esteemed Princeton professor revealed his long term prognosis. According to the professor:
Eventually we do have a problem. That the population is getting older, health care costs are rising…there is this question of how we’re going to pay for the programs. The year 2025, the year 2030, something is going to have to give…. …. We’re going to need more revenue…Surely it will require some sort of middle class taxes as well.. We won’t be able to pay for the kind of government the society will want without some increase in taxes… on the middle class, maybe a value added tax…And we’re also going to have to make decisions about health care, doc pay for health care that has no demonstrated medical benefits . So the snarky version…which I shouldn’t even say because it will get me in trouble is death panels and sales taxes is how we do this.

What can now prolong life for even serious illness will only be given in the future to the rich and politician classes who have exempted themselves from the obamination.

Either the government serves us or we serve it. Krugman thinks government is our master, and that our rights derive from its power to serve human need, and that the need of anyone is an unquestionable claim on the ability and effort of everyone else.
What if I refuse to produce, even though I can? What then? Do you force me? Do you steal from me? And if I refuse to be forced or robbed? Do you kill me?

Ah, yes, I remember the outrage and mockery with which Sarah Palin’s coinage of the term “Death Panels” was met like it was only yesterday. Well, actually, it was only yesterday. It isn’t as if the media have no memory, because they do. What they also have is the brass to pretend it never happened.
So am I. And those pseudo-Americans who are trying to establish themselves as some sort of leftist nobility or ruling class over all the rest of us are going to be stunned at the response to their plans.

I saw a shot on TV earlier of the greens marching and they had a sign that said “save the planet, kill yourself.” I was wondering why they did not simply do that and not put up a sign. Be the FIRST to volunteer. Set an example. Like the Muzzie suicide bomber trainers. Instead of training up kids to do it, man up and be the first to do it. Lead by example.

Another exhibit praised the Rosenbergs, executed Soviet spies, and I believe there was an exhibit about Soviet operative (and friend of Frank Marshall Davis) Paul Robeson.
Also leftwing plays are performed there.
While the old Communist Party of DC has basically died out (one of its leaders is now a professor of Black History etc at Georgetown University), the new “liberal chic” marxists and Obamites control the synagogue.

Just because you have a college degree doesn’t mean that you have common sense and know something relevant.
Krugman is a marxist but he sounds more like a bearded Dr. Menegele (lately of Auschwitz and Brazil). That is why he is teaching at Princeton, a once great university that hired marxists left and right (correction, left and left).

Could you quote me the part of the Constitution that allows this? So I guess you are arguing that somehow the insurance industry acts in the same fashion, but I would remind you that in a free market you choose your plan that fits your lifestyle and your needs. I guess if you really wanted to make an arguement you would be able to explain how Obamacare reduces the cost of medicine, it simply doesn’t all it does is grant power to the government to control you, but of course you Libs can’t digest that because you believe that is the role of centralized government planners, yes indeed that is apparently the change that Obama speaks so much about....
