“Immigrant” implies legality.
The correct term is “alien”. They’re illegal aliens.
These word shenanigans are practiced by both sides of the aisle. Over at the GOP Elite rationalization website (i.e., hughhewitt.com) the latest attempt is to change “amnesty” for illegal aliens to “regularization” of the lawbreakers.
