Dick Morris Dropped By Fox News
Deadline.com via Drudge ^ | Feb. 5, 2013 | By DOMINIC PATTEN

Long time contributor Dick Morris will no longer be a talking head on Fox New Channel. “His contract is up and we will not be renewing it, ” a spokesperson for the news network confirmed today.

A perpetual presence during last year’s Presidential election, Morris has not been seen on FNC since November 12.

Earlier today, he did announce via Twitter that he would be making an appearance on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight on Wednesday.

That will be the first time the conservative former Clinton advisor has appeared on CNN since 2002.

Morris isn’t the only big name contributor departure from the top rated new network.

FNC recently parted ways with former GOP VP candidate Sarah Palin after three years.

On the other hand, Fox News also re-signed Karl Rove to a multiyear contract and added liberal former Congressman Dennis Kucinich as a contributor.

Good points. Palin is not a good pundit. She’s not a writer like Charles Krauthammer and really doesn’t take to the time to craft a good argument.

She should have stayed in Alaska, kept on being an excellent governor, and now she would be a top-tier presidential candidate. But it’s too late, baby.

I knew this was coming. Morris held himself out as a political prognosticator and “flopped big time this last election.” He stuck his neck out and Fox is now cutting off his head!

I think that one of the basic reasons that Morris was off the mark on many of his political analyses is because he grossly underestimated Democratic corruption on many things.

Morris reminded me too much of a snake oil salesman. Always had that look like he was pulling a fast one on everyone. Just wouldn’t trust him, and after this past November, I REALLY don’t trust him. I have thought, but can’t prove, that he may have had a hand in sabotaging the campaigns of Romney’s rivals, particularly Herman Cain.

Carl Rove is the “architect” of losing the House and Senate in 2006, when the unemployment rate was 4.5%———and his strategy was followed by Mitt Romney and resulted in losing the White House and seats in the House and Senate in 2012 to a president and party running trillion dollar deficits for 5 straight years when the unemployment rate is over 7.5% and higher than when Obama took office. Why would you sign the demolition man to a new multi-year contract????? So he can figure out new ways to lose elections and create more independents????? “Let’s see-——this county in Ohio has lots of registered Republicans, so if we can just get all of those registered Republicans to the polls to vote for us, then maybe we can beat those 47% of registered Democrats—as long as they don’t show up to vote in the same numbers”. So he campaigned only in areas with huge Republican registration advantages, trying to stir up only Republicans to vote for him.......and it looked as though he was the rich, white candidate seeking the rich, white Republican vote against the black president —who campaigned as a “moderate” for everybody’s votes and not just his supposed “base”. Obama campaigned in the cities, the towns, the rural areas, whereas Romney didn’t even go near a minority district or a city!!!!! Carl Rove is all about politics and not ideas. He is the problem. And he is wishy washy on immigration. Republicans are supposed to make a deal with Democrats on immigration that we KNOW Democrats have no intention of keeping their end of the deal-—because their end of the deal is ONLY a “promise” to crack down on illegal immigration after they pocket the real goods of more legal immigration and putting 10 million Democrats on the path to voting. Bush was panderer and chief—and cost our party greatly.

You have a good point because whereas Morris often was wrong, Rove made an enormous ass of himself on election night, yet they are keeping him around.

Face it folks, Fox is putting more liberals on in reaction to the election results.

Heard him speak at an event I attend. Spoke before lunch.

He was drunk and sloppy and had to be ‘musiced’ off the stage

I always get the impression that Rove really thinks he is the true voice, the unelected leader, if you will, of the Republican Party. I don’t think he could lead a one car funeral procession. His ideas are totally out of touch with real middle-class Republicans.

GOOD simile with the characterization of “demolition man”,
extending the question further: would you hire a demolition contractor rather than a building contractor to build your house?

Dicky boy spouted his can’t miss prediction of a huge Romney victory. Lots of egg on a face although election fraud might have tilted the scales. Nevertheless DM got smacked down BIGTIME.
