I know that some people like to reflexively bash Trump, but Trump offered to pay "substantially more" than $5M to victims of hurricane Sandy if Obama would release his college transcripts.

How hard would that be? Who would refuse such a simple request -- especially when it came with such a big payoff? Who?

I'm not so sure it's about the grades. It could be about the titles of the courses he took. Think of the reaction if his transcripts at Occidental and Columbia were loaded with courses like "African Studies 101" and "Economics 210: How to Create a Socialist Economy in America."
