Scott Brown in talks with Fox News

Former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown is in talks with the Fox New Channel to join the network, a Fox spokeswoman has confirmed.

She declined to say what role Brown would play at the cable network.

The network recently cut ties with former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and former Clinton presidential advisor Dick Morris.

Brown, who lost his Senate seat to Democrat Elizabeth Warren in November, announced last Friday he would not be running in the special Senate election to fill the seat being vacated by Secretary of State John F. Kerry.

Meanwhile, Kadant Inc. of Westford, a paper recycling and production equipment company, announced today that Brown is joining its board of directors.

“During his time in public office, Senator Brown has gained a wealth of experience on local, state, national and international issues and I am pleased that he has agreed to join our board of directors,” Kadant President Jonathan W. Painter said in a statement. “His good judgment and pragmatic approach to solving problems will be a strong asset to Kadant as we continue to grow our business throughout the world.

“Senator Brown’s appointment to our board reflects our strong ties to Massachusetts. Kadant was founded in Massachusetts, our headquarters is in Westford and one of our principal manufacturing facilities is in Auburn. Another former U.S. Senator from Massachusetts, Paul Tsongas, also served on our board of directors in the 1990s.”

Brown said in the Kadant statement: “I am honored to have the opportunity to contribute to Kadant and learn more about the challenges of an international business .... Kadant has been on the forefront of designing and manufacturing equipment to recycle and produce paper for decades. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experiences and contributing to the future direction and growth of this global leader.”

Brown, a real estate lawyer and a colonel in the National Guard Judge Advocate General Corps, was elected U.S. senator in the 2010 special election to fill the seat vacated by the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy’s death. He was previously a state senator from Wrentham.

Just another example of Fox’s continuing downward spiral into RinoLand.

Onyx said it best when it came to the RINOS like Brown starting with Tokyo Rove:

Rove is a perfect fit at Fox News, but idiot Fox doesn’t realize that both Conservatives and democrats hate him. He’s a true loser all the way around. He gains them NOTHING.

Fox must be planning their own version of “Morning Joe” and will let Scott be their Joe Scarborough. Kuccinich and Rove will be his sidekicks.

Well, another RINO and loser.

Scott Brown will fit in just dandy.

Big tent R, and from Massachusetts no less.

He can tell Republicans how to win elections, too.

As a practical matter, it might be a mistake for both him and the network.

In a number of his interviews, he has not come across as a very good extemporaneous speaker. Being on the campaign trial is different from being in an interview situation.

Even if he believes passionately in what he is saying, just a few “um”s and “uhs” and hesitant pauses get tiring for a TV viewer pretty quickly.

RINO Hume, Backstabber Rove, Romneyphile Wallace,
and the rest of the Obama-pimps.

Brown should join them;
like a RINO-Backstabbing garter snake ball.

How can they profess to bed fair & balanced unless they display some of each? Besides, I enjoy seeing a bit of BS from the libs and I sure am not gonna suffer through MNBC to find out.

Same as when I listen to short wave stations. I tune in on US broadcasts and foreign news outlets such as Radio Havana, Radio Moscow and many other various stations.

That was my guess when he decided not to seek the Senate seat vacated by Botox Man.
