Impunity feeds Egypt’s sexual assaults, group says

Mob-led sexual assaults targeting Egypt’s female protesters could increase if perpetrators are not punished, an international rights group warned on Wednesday.

Amnesty International said statements from victims show that the assaults follow a “clear pattern,” where mobs of men encircle the victims, assault them with weapons and hands and then try to undress them.

Amnesty’s warning followed a statement from the U.N. human rights office, which last week said that about 25 women were reportedly sexually assaulted—in some cases with extraordinary violence—in Cairo’s Tahrir Square during recent demonstrations against Egypt’s Islamist President Mohammed Morsi. …

One particular attack on a woman on Jan. 25 has stood out: A mob of men on Cairo’s Tahrir Square raped a 19-year-old woman with a sharp object, cutting her genitals in an attack that forced her to undergo emergency surgery. …

These are the same blindered leftists who came out in favor of deposing Mubarak. It was all too obvious what would happen.

Muslims.

They kill their sisters for screwing then go out and rape someone elses sister.

Catch them and cut off their dicks. Sharia law.

There is a solution to this. An Islamic solution. Wire each woman going out in public with a suicide vest. When a gang throws her down to take turns - hit the detonator. A few times of this and they may leave them alone.

Rape as an expression of religious faith and duty—or just taking advantage of religion as an excuse for rape should be simply beyond the pale of any civilized nation.

Somewhere I saw a series of pictures of the graduating classes of the best university in Egypt, beginning in the 50s and going through sometime in this decade.

Women are included in the pictures. In the earliest pictures, a very few women are in burkhas, but as the years pass toward this century, you see more and more dressed that way.

Islamic fanaticism is changing the cultural practices of national societies back to the past, rather than to modern world standards. That’s OK if they want to live like that, but they have a goal of spreading their religion into the rest of the world.

It’s time to put a fence around these backward bastards. Good fences make good neighbors.

I believe that would be more effective as a deterrent, than a death sentence.

Obama trusts the Islamist thug Morsi with F-16s & tanks, but doesn’t trust the American people with having guns.

Meanwhile, isn’t Cairo a great place to be female?

In 1982, we visited Cairo for 3 days. A teeming, thriving, cosmopolitan city. The summer before, we spent R&R in Tunisia. (We were stationed in Saudi Arabia) Tunis was a beautiful city, and the resort where we stayed was a European vacation spot and as such was very cosmopolitan as well.
I wouldn’t set foot in either place now that the Muslim Brotherhood has taken over..

The only thing that would work is if the women stay in groups, AND ARE ARMED (at least with knives).

If a group of men try to molest a woman, and are suddenly surrounded by a bigger bunch of women and are stabbed to death, it WILL send a message.

I was stationed in Germany in 1982. I saw a slide show with a family that had just returned from Cairo. They loved it. In the photos Egyptian women wore Western garb, hijabs were unknown. Said the camel drivers around the Pyramids were a little pushy but that was all.

Somewhat later my wife and I vacationed in Acapulco, then in Cancun. Wouldn’t go near either one now. There’s an old joke, but it now seems to apply:

“Why should I travel? I’m already here!”

I have no need to go Mexico. It is a corrupt, cartel owned rape and murder factory..
