FULL HEADLINE: PHOTO: Massive Manhunt For Former LAPD Officer Christopher Dorner Wanted In Double Homicide Armed/Dangerous

Irvine Police looking for double murder suspect Christopher Jordan Dorner, 34 yrs old, a former LAPD officer and Naval officer. He may be driving a blue Nissan Titan pickup 7×03191. He was fired from LAPD by a board of rights several years ago. Dorner was represented by the father of murder victim during his board of rights hearing prior to being fired. He has left a lengthy manifesto, is considered armed and dangerous. He knows how to avoid law enforcement and has identified a desire to harm others, including members of LAPD and their families. He posted on Facebook a list of people that he blames for getting him fired, and he intends on exacting revenge on them and their families.
33-year-old Christopher Dorner is from La Palma and is described as black, 60″ 270 pounds, black hair & brown eyes. He may be driving a blue Nissan Titan pickup with CA plates, 7×03191.
Multiple law enforcement agencies are in an active search for Mr. Dorner.
double murder of who?
Guy looks luvable ....
This happened about two miles from where I live in Irvine. Better have my Ruger ready just in case.
Joy, that’s less than fifteen miles from where a friend lives. And thanks to Californistan’s draconian gun laws, guess what he doesn’t have to defend himself and his family? (I can’t wait until October, when they finally move back here to Kentucky where they belong.)
Testosterone and Hgh will mess with your mind....
“He posted on Facebook a list of people that he blames for getting him fired, and he intends on exacting revenge on them and their families”
And if these people will drop by the gun store immediately then they can pick up their guns in two weeks. God bless California.
Another stupid law in an otherwise very safe city: in Irvine it is illegal to discharge a firearm within city limits. So if I shoot the suspect in self defense I would get arrested as well.
The description gives him as black, but the picture shows otherwise. He’s reddish-pink below the nose, and bright orange above the nose. He’s one of those famous “bi-color” people.
horrible tragedy...
exactly! one of the victim's father represented him? so his representative's child, and ???? how is that two? poorly written...
as a Californian, i know for a fact one can legally own a gun in California... so why doesn't your friend have a gun?

The female victim played basketball for two years at Long Beach State before transferring to Concordia University. The male played basketball briefly at Cal Poly, then at Concordia.
Lock your doors and load your gun.
Actually, he just texted me back about this and told me that he picked up a shotgun for home defense last week (after being robbed at gunpoint for the third time in a year). The main reason he didn’t have a gun before that was everything he owned here in Kentucky is illegal in California.
Good.
Don’t recall these murders and I have lived in west Irvine for 20 years. The average number of murders in Irvine is none, one, or two and usually do not involve guns.
Do not underestimate the antics of the Irvine PD and City Council. These people drove out the city’s only firing range and tried to ban the sale of ammunition in the city.
Prohibition. It shall be unlawful for any person, other than peace officers and members of the armed forces and National Guard acting in their official line of duty, to shoot, fire or discharge, or for any person to cause or permit to be shot, fired or discharged, within the City, any rifle, shotgun, pistol, revolver or firearm, or BB gun, pellet gun and air rifle of any kind, except when it may be necessary to do so in order to protect life or property or to destroy or kill any predatory or dangerous animal.

Needs to be stated, to dispell the false claims we can’t have guns, which we can and do.
indeed! i am often having to dispell false claims about homeschooling in California...
Trust me, if he’s an ex-cop he’s FAR from Irvine and probably out of the State of CA by now.. Besides, Irvine’s black population is less than 2%.. Wouldn’t be too bright for him to stay in the area and get noticed in a flash..
I do hope you're right...
His manifesto -

Yikes. Sounds like he got burned by the LAPD for blowing the whistle on a female cop who kicked a dude in the face.
Notice the complete description in this case. Now why would that be?
After reading his “manifesto”, I’m sure that if he wrote the article you’d have no questions whatsoever. Very unfortunate. He’s an intelligent guy who allowed his bitterness at the system to destroy his life.
Holy hell.
Prayers up for the targeted people.
Good observation. I read that but didn’t think of the obvious.
Breaking now.. He just killed an on duty cop in Riverside and shot two other officers.
“everything he owned here in Kentucky is illegal in California.”
What did he own, machine guns? There are very few guns that you cannot own in California.
Oh No.
Reading the aricle, it’s a little difficult to understand what’s going on here.
First reaction is that this guy got scr*wed.
Anyone know the details?
I just read the manifesto, and I think he is one very dangerous man. This guy is smart enough and dedicated enough to cause a whole lot of death and destruction. If my name were on that list I would be going underground for a little while.
“If my name were on that list I would be going underground for a little while.”
If my name were on that list, I would consider going hunting instead.
Here is his side of the story -

Wow,I just read the article.
“I never had the opportunity to have a family of my own, I’m terminating yours,” he added.
Oooops.. He didn’t leave the State after the killings on Sunday.. He’s killed a cop in Riverside this morning. Looks like he’s in ‘I don’t value my life’ mode, which he also said in his manifesto.
This pisses me off.. “Massive manhunt” and LAPD live news conferences.. WHY??? Because he’s threatened THEM, that’s why. They don’t care if it’s just a regular murderer threatening you or I.
His Navy career began in April 2002 and ended this month. There's the trigger.
Fits the spree killer profile to a "T".
Spree killings differ from serial killings in that the perpetrator bears a grudge and eventually some incident, sometimes identifiable or sometimes only guessed at, causes him to flip and he immediately commits a killing spree, shooting those he sees as responsible for his predicament, and sometimes randomly shooting and killing people who he sees as representative of those who have failed or rejected him.Rejection is a common trigger in violence. Sometimes the killing appears spontaneous, but most often it is planned, even if the precise date and time are not.
In most cases, the spree killing ends with the gunman shooting himself or being shot dead by police.
Doesn’t seem like he and the LAPD were a good fit.
He had a couple of rifles (an AR-15 and an SKS) and two pistols (a Browning 9mm and a Para-Ordinance .45), but when he went to the local sheriff’s office to register them he was informed that he could not bring them into the state. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but that’s what he was told.
The idiots have banned the SKS. And the AR15 has to have a fixed mag. and some other cosmetic alterations, but there are CA legal ARs. Don’t know about the pistols unless they are high cap, but I have a high-cap Sig that was purchased pre- the 10 round max. It’s legal and I can buy high-cap used mags for it. New one’s are illegal except for LEO’s. It’s all BS and I just wonder how for how many generations the SCOTUS is going to duck the 2A.They are all a disgrace so far as I am concerned. Thank God they weren’t around when this country was being founded. We would have never made it. The sheriff’s here are a mixed bag. Thus far 13 of the 58 have come out in support of the 2A against what’s going on. Most of the rest are “urban morons” who take orders from the pols. I have asked our sheriff ( through my supervisor since the good sheriff doesn’t respond to mere citizens) and it’s been a month and he’s still hiding under his desk. Our town’s first Chief married a family friend and we socialized for a while. This a$$hole came from the Sheriff’s Dept. When he realated how during his career he got the “rich and famous” out of the slammer when they were taken in drunk, and how he used to waive his service revolver at motorists who followed him too closely, we decided we could do without his company. And, BTW he’s now retired and get’s $140k per year plus benefits for a job that paid him less than half of that twelve years ago. Just a disgrace!
It's not legal to import or transfer normal-capacity magazines which hold more than 10 cartridges in the People's Republik of Kalifornia.
