A civil war seems to be brewing within the GOP as Karl Rove has decided to take on the Tea Party with the "Conservative Victory Project," a group designed to take out conservative Tea Party candidates who challenge those supported by the more moderate GOP establishment. In response, Judson Phillips, head of the Tea Party Nation, posted an open letter on Monday in which he calls Rove the "poster child for crony consultants."
In his letter to GOP donors, Phillips said they are about to become a political football for the next two years.
He added that Rove's project "has nothing to do with conservatives and will achieve about as many victories as Rove engineered in 2012," which Phillips counted as "zero."
"If Karl Rove wants to throw out bad candidates, I have four words for him. John McCain and Mitt Romney," he added.
Phillips then said that donors would be better off giving money to Bernie Madoff than the GOP, saying they would get a better return on their investment.
Calling Rove the "poster child for crony consultants," Phillips said that if the GOP had any sense, it would give Rove a "dishonorable discharge" and ban him from any future campaigns.

The Pillsbury D’oh boy needs a serious spanking. Figuratively of course
“If Karl Rove wants to throw out bad candidates, I have four words for him. John McCain and Mitt Romney,”
Classic! And to the point!
“I dare say any candidate who gets this groups support should be targeted for destruction by the conservative movement,”
This is what’s going to happen. We will know not to support any candidate they endorse unless is it also endorsed by some other, more reliably conservative group (like when both the Tea Party and the Establishment got behind Ron Johnson and Jeff Flake, both victors).
Isn't that five words? ;)
I think Rove has brought this issue out in the open, early and with enough time to resolve it once and for all.
Bring it Rove. In the end you will either be out, or control the GOP against a new and energetic rival : The Tea Party.
I would LOVE to see Kart Rove, Steve Schmidt and Ken Mehlman Beat and Bled out next to a dumpster in a bad part of ANY major US City.
Steve Schmidt is a despicable piece of excrement.
First of all guys like Rove and others ignored the mechanics of basic campaigning. They allowed the M.ainline S.ocialist M.edia drive the issues and are still doing so they learned nothing from their disasters. To allow his boss GWB be trashed without responding is sheer stupidity.
These people I call them GOPES because it rhymes with dopes right now are falling into the same trap. Limbaugh and Levin, God bless them ...realize that what Limbaugh calls the LIVs (low intelligence voters) actually believe that Obama is offering the proverbial olive branch to Republicans when actually he is proceeding on his path to complete socialism. AND THEY CANT CALL HIM A LIAR .
This administration came up with a policy on energy which had driven up the cost on everything. It was on the tongue of every black, white. yellow, and brown skined person living in the US....IT WENT UNTOUCHED in the 2012 campaign....WORSE YET IT IS STILL GOING UNCHALLANGED
Now the GOPES are buying into the demographic argument offered by the MSM. Here you have an issue staring at them straight in the face affecting every man, woman, and child of every skin color and you cant bring it up and they talk about demographics being pushed by the socialist media .
They should be decrying the philosphy of demographics by stating theyre Americans first not Afro-Americans. not Hispanic-Americans and not-Asian-Americans, or White-Americans. The counter charge should be; these are socialist tactics neing pushed by the hypenated Demo-coms. Democrats in socialist/fascist clothing.
Rove’s RINOS are wrong for the Republicans.
