NEWTOWN, Conn. (AP) Children from Newtown who recently recorded a version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" will be singing during the Grammy Awards.
Sabrina Post, who directs the Newtown Music Project, says American Idol host Ryan Seacrest will be flying to Connecticut to do a live segment with the children on Sunday's broadcast.
Nothing like having first graders sing
Your stare was holding, ripped jeans
Skin was showing
Hot night, wind was blowing
Where you think you’re going baby?
I'm sure it was the 5- and 6-year-olds that came up with this idea, the list of five or six (so far) venues from (almost literally) one corner of the country the other, and the immediacy to do these performances one right after another.
What about the ongoing Chicago slaughter? Or aren’t dead black kids useful in pushing gun control?
You forgot the Barf Alert.
It appears there are two groups of kids trying to cash in on fame
The Newton One Eyed Cats should get in on it.
They were first
No way to comment at article source. Natch. I’ve also noticed new sources limiting their comments sections more and more.....or, if they have one, it’s through “Disqus”.
So MOST are from Sandy Hook...well how many are ringers??
Looks like the Talking Heads guy lives in Fairfield.
So I wonder whose idea this really was...
Maybe they should sing “Jaine’s Got a Gun” - bada bing!
Looks like Newtown Soccer should get in on the act , too.
Dancing on the graves of children...
It’s no worse than an 8-year-old singing “Super Bass.”
I guess there’s no way for those of us that find this disgusting to have our voices heard. To me this is child abuse and they will have their lives defined by this mistreatment. The radical left wing extremist demokkkrats will have all these poor little souls further brainwashed for the rest of their lives. We’ll end up with more sandra flukes. This is NOT helping them “heal”. Their parents should be ashamed but I’m sure they’re not. After all, they’re doing “something”. And anybody that states this will be vilified and called cold hearted and uncaring. You know, conservatives (and some republicans).
Hey, I just met you,Indeed! Sexual interest (in song) from the remaining Newtown innocents blasted on television sets everywhere...
And this is crazy,
But here's my number, So call me, maybe?
Are they selling “Newton Kids World Tour” t-shirts?
