I noticed that. Couple that with the fact that there are no checkpoints in Pinellas, and it makes me think that they don’t have the manpower to do it; they’re economizing their troop strength along critical points.

So why all the attention to Tampa Bay?

Sometimes they’ll put up a flashing sign on the interstate that says “DRUG CHECKPOINT - 2 MILES AHEAD”.

Conveniently, there will be an exit off the interstate between that sign and the “drug checkpoint” 2 miles down the road.

So of course all those cars carrying drugs will thank God there is an exit before the checkpoint and take that exit to get off the interstate.

Where they will then find that the real drug checkpoint is at the end of that exit ramp off the exit they just took.
