I fail to make the connection between the prayer breakfast and cable news....
Besides, I thought he said a few days ago he does not watch cable news...
Obama is right. I prayed at the breakfast...that he would go back to the White House and resign.
Yet...nothing happened.
It sounds as though the prayer breakfst wasn’t enough of a photo op. Perhaps he should skip them.
I kid you not. This was when he was mostly still unknown outside of Chicago.
Barry does his prayin on a rug facing East 5 times a day. The prayer breakfast doesn’t count.
He was making a somewhat valid point, as far as the people he knows. They go to the politically expedient function so as to be seen praying. Then, when you see them later that day on the news, they are contradicting what they prayed. Of course, he doesn’t seem to realize that he is the chief Pharisee.

Once the pro forma prayers are out of the way, Islam largely permits the practicing Muslim to do just about anything he wants, as he has absolution for the rest of the day.
So that's what he does all day.
Is he saying that the only effective prayers are the ones that agree with him? “Nevertheless, not Thy will, but MINE be done.”
He likes to go to watch the cable networks as they worship him(BO). He probably gets his talking points against Republicans on MSNBC. A prayer breakfast is not about BO, but the cable networks are.

I’m quite sure he was ready to forget everything Dr. Benjamin Carson talked about as soon as it was said. Obama only cracked a smile a time or two for the duration of the politically incorrect 26-minute speech by Dr. Carson.

Carson’s speech was the highlight of the Prayer Breakfast. It was, perhaps, the highlight of my week. I’m surprised it didn’t get more covereage on FR (unless I missed a thread or two).
Obama was clearly pissed. He grimaced and misbehaved like a 6-year-old in church. The man has no class; no social skills. A Breitbart poster mentioned that Hussein probably was pissed because he was at a prayer breakfast and didn’t have his rug with him.
