Are the Newtown kids set to sing at the Grammy Awards really from Newtown? That's the question Newtown's superintendent is asking, and she's also asked them to stop performing.

The did seem a little polished for an elementary choir having put together a program in such a short period of time.
I know who she voted for.
I heard that the choir group was going to again perform for the Grammy Awards and that really set me off. Why not call the group the Newtown Tragedy Road Show for goodness sake.
This is all so wrong on so many levels. Just a darn shame to exploit the children.

The Choir at the superbowl was comprised of only white kids. They will never let that happen at the Grammys.

Post was a former Newtown High choral director before she was charged with stealing from the school district by using bogus expense vouchers. She was placed on leave in February 2005 and resigned in June 2005 after agreeing to pay the school board $11,000. She was also granted accelerated rehabilitation.
They are being displayed in the dark attention whore culture of death. If I were a parent there, this would not be happening with my kid.

I had to look that one up. From what I could gather it's kind of a settle-out-of-court for criminal matters? That way they can skip a bunch of expensive proceedings. If someone more knowledgeable has a good explanation I'd appreciate it.
Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) is a special pre-trial intervention program in the USA for non-violent offenders with no prior or limited record.
The primary purpose of the program is the rehabilitation of the offender and secondarily the prompt disposition of charges, eliminating the need for costly and time-consuming trials or other court proceedings. The aim of the program is to intervene at an early state, so that steps can be taken to prevent future incidents of a similar nature.
Candidates admitted into the program are closely screened by the district attorney’s office. To be accepted into an ARD program the defendant has to agree to certain conditions such as making restitution or completing substance abuse treatment. While in an ARD program, defendants are placed under supervision, similar to probation. They may also be ordered to do community service.
Yeah, so the same kids who were exposed to the true face of death and destruction via stacks of bullet riddled bodies and blood soaked floors are chipper and bright as they sing at the Grammys? Yeah, and Robbie Parker isn’t a liar, and Sally Cox told us the truth about Adam Lanza’s mother working at the school. I swear, there are more lies and false emotional behaviors oozing out of Sandy Hook than Hell itself.
