I apologize for any omissions of the article as it appears on this page. The particular content of the Twitchy web site does not lend itself well when being copied and pasted. I would recommend going to the site to view the content posted here and much more.

If ya see lots of people carrying guns at state capitol today - that would be a gun rights rally between 10am-2pm. 4:49 PM - 08 Feb 13

Citizens around the country are gathering at state capitols today to rally in support of the Second Amendment and exercise their right to bear arms.

"Eat my lead", you chicken-sh!t congressional gun opponents. Watch the Constitution in action as proud gun-owners show off and demonstrate their inherent rights bestowed upon them by the foresight, prescience of our forefathers.

I visited my local Sportman’s Warehouse this morning as it opened, and there were two lines formed. One was for ammo, and the other line was for “AR-15s” as so said the proprietor. In the ammo line, about 225 people were lined up to buy and about 100 for ARs and other guns. The Dems have to ask themselves a question. Do they want to stay in office or push their ultra-leftist agenda?

And whaddaya know.... none of these guns mysteriously jumped out of their holsters or straps and started killing people all on their on. How is it possible that nobody got shot where there were so many guns in one area? Perhaps because nobody put their insane, drug-addled finger on the trigger and pulled it. If they had, they would have got one round off, maybe two, before a sane armed person brought them dowm.
A sane person holding a gun is actually safe!

A bunch of law abiding citizens carrying guns in a lawful manner = nobody got shot.

One lunatic illegally obtains a gun and brings it to a “gun free zone” = mass murder of unarmed victims.

Think they were buying up all those ARs so they could turn 'em in when the time comes?

I'm guessing not...

Those law abiding, gun-toting citizens can carry their weapons to the rally on the lawn of the capitol in Little Rock, but if they tried to take their guns inside the capitol building itself then that's illegal and they could be arrested. If I'm a law abiding citizen then I should be able to take my legally acquired and legally carried firearm into anywhere I want. Certainly when it comes to public buildings.
