It doesnt get any messier as Los Angeles police officers, involved in a statewide manhunt for an ex-LAPD colleague, came across vehicles matching the one sought by authorities in massive manhunt at two separate locations.
The first location in Torrance involved Los Angeles police detectives from the Hollywood division, who got caught up in an officer involved shooting, which resulted in gunfire injuring two women that had been delivering newspapers. They have since been transported to an area hospital.
The incident took place at approximately 5:20 a.m. in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue according to sources. The extent of their injures has not been made public.
The second incident involved Torrance police, and occurred at Flagler Lane and Beryl Street at approximately 5:45 a.m. No injuries were reported in that incident.

... that’s two separate incidents now where police opened fire on a vehicle that they say looked similar to Dorner’s truck.
I hope someone has told the police that his truck has been found and they can stop shooting at every truck that drives by now.
But now, if they don’t know what he’s driving, no one is safe.
Why do they think they need to just start shooting?
I wonder what Harry Bosch has to say about this. Not much, I bet.
“came across vehicles matching the one sought by authorities”
Not even close to matching. His-gray. Theirs-blue.
That's what you do when you're $hitting your pants in fear.
The truck didn’t even remotely match the one they were looking for.
If Joe Friday was alive, he would be spinning in his grave.
Hat tip to Yogi Berra.
They are gonna be very wealthy very soon..........
Did the truck have something like “NEWS VAN” or something similar so those Neanderthal cops wouldn’t be shooting at it. I bet it had a dog in there and they heard it barking.
...two hispanic women delivery newspaper causes that in some people? :p
Apparently, it’s enough to cause LAPD employees to lose bladder control.
Oh, and trigger control.
Sure don’t hear much about the other guy they shot at. Just the two women. I wonder why.
Mandate trigger locks on their pissers!
catheters for all cops!
Heck, I didn't even know they shot at someone else.
There was no excuse for the shoot, their careers are over and the ladies are going to the bank.
In any scenario, the cops knew they were looking for one black guy, why shoot at two people? The cops SOP is to check the license plate, what happened?
Looks like the S CA cops are pretty jumpy. This is exactly what Dorner wants.
An officer involved shooting which resulted in gunfire. HA! That’s some journalism.
Reminds me of that scene in Almost Heroes when they unload on the squirrel with the nut in its paws.
“He’s got something in his hands!!!”
Go to 1:35
color blind cops who confuse 1 guy and 2 ladies, blue-gray... and can’t even hit what they aim at.(thank goodness)
