Ask the reporter if she thinks permits should be required
to have children, or background checks for all yard sales.

I’ve been telling the liberals I know that I support implementing the Universal Background check so long as Obama passes it first.

Universal background checks is NOT what they are asking for, even if that is what they’re calling it.

Every proposal for “universal background checks” includes entering the purchased firearms into a FEDERAL DATABASE.

It is Universal Gun Registration, the first step to Universal Gun Confiscation.

I’d like to know where the Constitution grants the general government the authority to mandate background checks for/by private citizens.

The “regulation of commerce with Foreign Nations, and among the several States and with the Indian Tribes” clause has been grossly abused. I am none of the above. And no such power has been delegated to the general government (see Article I, Section 8, compairing Amendment 10).

It’s hard to sustain the fiction that we have a Consitutional government anymore. So, what are we going to do about it?

After all the illogical proposals and “executive findings” and weeping and wailing and nobama’s “Gettysburg Address” in Newtown and editorials and letters to the editor and all the rest. After all that, turns out it was largely a smoke screen.

nobama and his goons really just want background checks on every gun sold. That’s all. Just that. Sounds simple, huh? Until you realize that 100% background checks leads to 100% registration which leads to a government database of who owns what. Not by this summer. Can’t raise the water temperature on the frog that fast. But shirley within a year or two.

So let’s close the “gun show loophole”. You will have to go outside to conduct business if you are a private person selling to a private person. All other private sales remain legal, as they do not occur inside a gunshow.

How’s that. No more gun show loophole.

what it really means is that you wouldn’t be able to sell a gun to your brother without the government knowing about it. thats the real intention.

Some research suggests that crooks are more likely to get guns from the streets than from a gun show.

You don't, frickin' say!
