After all the illogical proposals and “executive findings” and weeping and wailing and nobama’s “Gettysburg Address” in Newtown and editorials and letters to the editor and all the rest. After all that, turns out it was largely a smoke screen.

nobama and his goons really just want background checks on every gun sold. That’s all. Just that. Sounds simple, huh? Until you realize that 100% background checks leads to 100% registration which leads to a government database of who owns what. Not by this summer. Can’t raise the water temperature on the frog that fast. But shirley within a year or two.

Until you realize that 100% background checks leads to 100% registration which leads to a government database of who owns what.

And at that point what exactly is the criteria for "passing" a background check?

And what, exactly, prevents future changes to that criteria?

And who, exactly, will determine the criteria?

You see, there is already far too much restriction and government intrusion on Second Amendment Rights. Current regulations are opening the door to a National Registration database. Current firearm laws should be reversed, NOT ENHANCED.

What many folks miss on situations such as this is we are in the MIDDLE of the disarming of America process, not merely looking at the beginning.

But no one is complaining about the current law because the "frogs" have adjusted to current temperature in the pot.
