Amish believe the Bible instructs women to let their hair grow long and men to grow beards once they marry. Cutting it would be shameful and offensive

I do not agree with what they did and find it harsh and crazy but had he raped someone he would have gotten less time .
"He is a danger to this community," she said. "He is capable of controlling 15 defendants."...
She is making him out to be a gang leader , had he been a real gang leader the police would never had arrested him. It's sickening really .
