BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. – All that was left were footprints leading away from Christopher Dorner's burned-out pickup truck, and an enormous, snow-covered mountain where he could be hiding among the skiers, hundreds of cabins and dense woods.

More than 100 officers, including SWAT teams, were driven in glass-enclosed snow machines and armored personnel carriers to hunt for the former Los Angeles police officer suspected of going on a deadly rampage to get back at those he blamed for ending his police career.

Video of LAPD Conf at mtn site.

IMHO, his MO is similar to most Muslim extremists.

He has a fundamental problem with justice.

He focuses on identifying something unrighteous or an assault upon his thinking. When hit with a contrary thought, he recoils and believes his retribution is righteous, confirming his personal justification.

The problem is that his personal righteousness in his own eyes, is not holy, as being perfectly just and righteous.

He recognized the theft of the boat to serve his personal agenda, but still recognized the murder of the owner to not be righteous, nor satiating any perceived retribution. He might have planted the idea of going to Mexico. He might have had some remorse for his victim and attempted to justify his behavior to him ignoring the obvious criminality.

FWIW, until we have real eyewitness reports, he might also be dead and the entire affair is an attempt to sway public opinion against the rule of law. That is just as consistent with the Black Muslim agenda under this Administration, which would just as likely turnover the SW US to extreme Muslim Mexican fifth columnists with Chinese influence.

IMHO, it’s probably WYSIWYG. He likely was wronged from his perception, but lacks the self discipline to work within the system. Instead he corners himself into becoming adversarial against peers, juniors, and seniors only clinging upon past perceived wrongs, valid or not, to justify any action, no matter how criminal.

If it’s him, then now he’s cornered into either a gang only lifestyle or a loner lifestyle. Without a job, he is more likely to seek the former.

From his taste in celebrities, it appears he enjoys the status quo, where reward and compensation are commensurate with diligent devotion to cause. His lack of discipline when faced with adversity is substituted with a counterfeit devotion to cause to self justify his thinking.

Considering the report of his attempt to steal a boat, I suspect many of the public may be exposed to extremely high risk from his erratic behavior. He has manifest he doesn’t consider felonious criminal activity to be inconsistent with his agenda if tactically justifiable.

FWIW, it’s been pretty cold, wet, and windy up in Big Bear for the last few days. If he was roughing it, he’s going to be awfully tired, cold, wet, and hungry. Without resources, he’s likely be desperate. On the other hand, his manifesto might have included many a trite comment as brevity codes to third parties. We might be witnessing more gang involved assymetric warfare being employed.

It could also be a black ops mission. He could disappear never to be heard from again.

He did favor 68degrees over 72 degrees.

Speaking of Black Ops. I just had 3 Black Helicopters pass over my house heading North towards Big Bear in formation. I suspect they were coming from Miramar or Pendleton.

Coincidence?

The guy’s a terrorist. I want someone to stop him from doing what he’s already done before he does it again, and I want them to do it right now.

So you recommend a drone strike on this guy now that he is labeled a “terrorist”?

I never said that. Tactical air strike with napalm yes, drone strike no. But that's just me.

And since you ask, what are you in favor of? Maybe you could go reason with him.

Any markings?

Just Black. Kinda shaped like this:

Rounded front, thick body, wheels down.

I read most of his rant. Don’t really know what to think about the whole thing. Anyone who have ever been wronged by cops would be more on his side.

I think he is past the reasoning stage. He already stated that.

BlackHawk, UH60. Used by the military and others. The markings are sometimes hard to read as they are a dark color.

Even if they break the law doing it?

That’s about what I thought, too. He’s spread them out all over the place. The screw-ups of the cops hosing down entire neighborhoods has added a huge distraction away from the manhunt, too.

I’ll wager that for a guy who wants to wage war against the LAPD, his new residence address will be in Mexico. Imagine a guy with his naval intel training and insight into LAPD working for the cartels. They’d pay him pretty nicely for what he knows... and working with the cartels would mean that he has access to lots of ways to smoke a lot of cops.

Death of cop, by cop. Preordained, by both sides.

Yet, the LAPD is going thru the motions of impartiality:
