BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. — The ex-cop suspected in the killings of an officer and two others remained at large Friday as darkness fell over a mountain forest and police suspended their manhunt until Saturday morning. “Once it gets dark out there and the snow keeps falling and they have no air support, I don’t know how effective they would be in that situation,” spokeswoman Cindy Bachman of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said.
Throughout Friday, more than 100 officers searched through fresh snow for clues to the whereabouts of Christopher Jordan Dorner, 33, a fired Los Angeles Police Department officer and former Navy lieutenant suspected in the three killings. Dorner allegedly wrote a manifesto declaring a war of revenge on police, authorities said.
By Friday night, police were expected to have completed a search of vacant cabins in the snowpacked forest of the San Bernardino Mountains near the resort town of Big Bear Lake, Bachman said.

“My opinion of the suspect is unprintable,” Riverside police Chief Sergio Diaz said, hours after one of his officers was killed. “The manifesto, I think, speaks for itself (as) evidence of a depraved and abandoned mind and heart.”

Apparently, the authorities don’t think the suspect can get access to any news, either-it would make more sense to me to stay shut up about anything but the bare facts where the media is concerned. If this guy is as cagey as they keep saying he is, he is likely miles away fron where they are looking by now-and what if he has an accomplice or enabler? He wants to kill people, and they just keep blabbing about where they are looking, etc.
Hey! LAPD he ain’t up there anymore! He is resting in a safe house watching the coverage on MSNBC or CNN and planning his next move.
I will not "tsk, tsk" and look down upon those who take up arms against the government. As Churchill said, "If Hitler were to invade Hell, I would at least make a favorable reference to the Devil in the House of Commons."

Since this cop went nuts, can we expect other cops to follow his lead? They are trigger happy out in LA, chooting up blue trucks and cleaning ladies.
These out of control cops need to be monitored with tracking devices. They are going to exceed their normal over-reaction and people are going to be hurt, like the gansters they purport to bring to justice. We need to match the transponder with the cop weapon, as no one is safe with this bunch.
You’d likely need to send the cops a bill for bear damage, too-by spring those bears will be wide awake and very, very hungry...
If everybody would turn in their guns they will be safe, and the police will protect them from the bad guys. Except this bad guy is a cop. oops.
Everybody in the area is protecting themselves with guns. You can’t expect anyone else to protect you.

I just read that manifesto. This guy is serious and he’s already counting himself as a dead man. Very dangerous and lethal combination. Ex-cop, heavily armed, has intel and its gadgets, severely depressed, knows the law enforcement system inside and out, 3 years to plan.

Dorner: Police are Heavily Armed and Dangerous.
Maybe they gave them tickets to the Sands so they could see a show while the search was being carried out.

Well, I’m sure they at least had a search warrant for this one.
My guess is that Dorner is sitting warm, comfortable and satiated somewhere in LA, planning his next strike.
The most dangerous element of this is that he said in his manifesto that he is trained in demolitions.
A long time ago I knew some Army Explosive Ordnance Demolition (bomb disposal) types. They had an ongoing contest, in which they picked a random major city in the world, and as a thought problem, figured out how it could be paralyzed, for under $500. That is, cut off its water, electricity, sewage, communications, transportation, etc.
For under $500.
They did this contest on speculation that if some other *trained* individual(s) tried to do this, they would pick many of the same vulnerabilities. And if they did, the EOD would know where to look to neutralize their bombs.
Importantly, bombing is by far the most effective terrorist attack, because it picks all the criteria of the attack, and by the time the bomb goes off, optimally the bomber is many miles away.
The best example of this was New York’s “Mad Bomber”, who blew up bombs for 16 years before being caught.

The LAPD is right to be scared. However, they are wrong in trying to scare everyone else. Dorner is after them...not the civilian populace.
Interesting. Jesus, even when falsely accused and being led to execution, totally innocent, didn't say anything "unprintable". Hard to defend that and in doing so, you show your lack of character. Dorner, in killing people over a job dismissal, shows far worse vacuum of character. This nation is lost.
I would like to see a comparison of allocated resources between Dorn and all the other murders that occurred in the same time period in LA.
From reading his manifesto, it sounds like they lied to protect a female cop, ruined his career, his reputation, and ultimately his life. His statements have the ring of truth. I’m not saying that what he has done is right, but I am saying that it looks like the cops are now trying to further break the law by trying to murder him to shut him up, which in the grand scheme of things is a far worse crime than the ones they’re accusing him of committing.
It’s time for the LAPD leadership to come under the supervision of the National Guard and a full blown investigation initiated.

I’d say the Norway shooter was quite effective too. He lit off the bomb in Oslo, had the police from the entire southern half of Norway at the site (they have very few police in that part of the world, which is going to be a HUGE problem when it comes to even holding on to the government...but that’s another discussion), and then went to that Socialist Training Camp and shot them up - unmolested for like an hour, before anyone could get there.
I have read that they have done exactly that.
But he didn’t say the words. And of course he is not Jesus. I think, for the mayhem Dorner has committed and caused, he was very professional and appropriate. Lucky we don’t have to agree. And actually, you know very little about my character.

I am pretty convinced that Breivik carried out an attack based on a professionally composed military plan. It is known that he traveled to a Belorussian paramilitary training camp several times, and were he carrying out a plan, it worked to perfection, something that almost never happens with an amateur plan.
What he did accomplished a very focused military operation to achieve political ends, and it crippled a scheme by the ruling party to effectively destroy Norway.
The Workers’ Youth League (AUF) of the Labour Party in Norway was founded in cooperation between their socialist and communist parties youth movements, just five years after the founding of the Hitler Jugend, and based on that model.
The purpose of both organizations was to create a next generation of ideologically pure political leaders, to carry on the doctrines of their respective parties without internal dissension.
And since WWII, all the political leadership of the Norwegian Labour Party has been indoctrinated in that organization. In the last 40 years, not just Norwegian youth, but immigrant youth as well, with a decided purpose.
A major philosophical belief of the Socialist International, an organization of socialist political parties from around the world, is that nations are just a random social contrivance of no inherent value, and a major cause of war, and must eventually just become districts of a new world socialist order, formed into economic blocs.

The way they figure to do this is by encouraging unlimited immigration, and welfare to the immigrants, on condition that they support the socialist party. Eventually they will make the natives a minority, and then their religion, culture and history will be so diluted that they will cease to exist as a unique people and live in a one-party district of their socialist economic bloc.
Norway would be particularly easy to do this to, as though they are still 86% Norwegian, there are only about 5 million people total in Norway, so dilution with foreigners can accomplish the socialist goal quickly. The destruction of Norway.
And that is, of course, the eventual goal of the Norwegian Labour Party, taught doctrinally through the AUF, their next generation of leaders.
But enter Anders Behring Breivik. Imagine the effect it would have on even a major political party, if 69 of their top leaders were killed?
The Norwegian Labour Party only has 55,800 members. So Breivik exterminated most of their indoctrinated future leadership. Though they will be replaced, the replacements will not be anywhere near as ideologically pure, and will likely deviate from their agenda enough to ruin in for the next hundred years.
So, though Breivik murdered 69 people, mostly teenagers, he might have saved his nation. And while the Labour Party government desperately tried to have him declared insane, the courts ruled otherwise, which sends a profound message to others whose countries are under threat by the parties of the Socialist International.
Yet the profound question remains, who were his confederates?

If all cops were wired into a central surveillance system, how much crime would be affected? Be honest now. Clearly with the advent of these types of rogue cops, we need to electonically police the cops. It's like putting cops into schools to protect the innocent civilians because it's too dangerous to otherwise let manic killers out in the general population.
Then I'd suggest the police union's pension fund be responsible for all damage awards, not the taxpayers.
The dark knight always rises for a reason and this guy Dorner is opening up discussion on police departments nationally. Its pretty bad when conservative sites like FR have long-time posters sick and tired over police brutality nationwide. Don't you agree?

His were not short term goals. His intent was to cripple their future. Their intent was to control the country with a small, radical political party, by subverting the vote in their favor by importing foreigners.
If you look at the numbers, it makes sense. Data from the CIA Factbook (their data is from 2007, but it shows the trends).
In 2007, 94.4% of the population were Norwegian. Today, this is down to 86.2%.
“Other” population in 2007, 5.6%. Today, 13.1%.
And yet, the socialist party currently has a majority of as many seats as the liberal and conservative (anti-socialist) party combined. They did this by winning the popular vote with just 949,060 votes, giving them 35.4% of the vote.
The number of immigrants in Norway is approximately 550,000. The total “immigrant population”, which includes Norwegian-born children to immigrant parents, is 655,170, corresponding to 13.1 percent of the total population (2011). (A percentage of these are from other European countries.)
So you can see how critical immigration is to Norway’s future.
