I will survive the snow storm, it is still nice and warm here in Texas. I have no intention of going to the North East.

I am personally glad that I listened to Rush’s survival tips yesterday.

We got a foot of snow, and I’m alive to tell about it, thanks to Rush.

In fact, today I saw a mighty nice looking patch of yellow snow, but thanks to Rush’s survival tips, I knew not to eat it!

Don’t believe I’ve laughed that hard in ages. The part which just floored me was when he cut to a live clip (I believe) of Doomberg giving the offcial tips. Rush says something to the effect... See, he’s using my tips. Definitively a classic show to me.

My dogs are experts at making patches of yellow snow. Especially the basset.

Guns are the norm here in Upstate NY as well.

There’s one local school district which gave the kids the day before Thanksgiving off because until just recently, it was opening day of deer season.

So many kids and teachers were off out hunting that they decided that it would just be better to shut the school down for the day.

There are more guns and cows in my section of the state than people.

Good Gracious Great God Almighty! The way these ‘’weather forecasters’’ go on you'd think every time a drop of rain fell, a gust of wind blew or snowflake that falls is the end of the world. 10,000 years ago our ancestors were running around in five feet of snow chasing wooly mammoths in little more than animal skins and dodging bears as big as horses. And you know what? They became us! We're still here. Jeez, the things some people worry about.
