A new shift of officers has been called in tonight to continue the search for Christopher Dorner in Big Bear. The LAPD has announced it will reopen the investigation into Dorner’s termination.

Bulletin: Sgt. R. Collins of the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department Big Bear station said at 6:15 p.m. that a new shift of officers had been called in to continue the search for Christopher Dorner.

LAPD Police Chief Charlie Beck has announced the department will reopen the investigation into Dorner's employment termination. He plans to publicly address Dorner's allegations of wrongful termination and review the 2007 complaint against his supervisor.

LAPD has also announced that a special task force has been created to assist with the capture of Dorner. Irvine, Riverside and Los Angeles police departments as well as the FBI and U.S. Marshals will work together to end the manhunt.

A torched truck abandoned in Big Bear by a man suspected of killing three people this week was abandoned with several weapons inside after the vehicle broke down, officials said Saturday.

The burned truck's discovery set off a massive manhunt, and while there has been no sign of Christopher Dorner in the past 48 hours, more than 50 law enforcement officials continue to search the wooded and mountainous terrain.

The guy is a Murderer and the only thing that makes him different from his fellow LAPD is that he has been successful in killing the people that he shoots at.

I pray the whole lot of them are slow roasted in hell

TT

Ohh -- that's a good move, especially now that he has proven himself to have been a loose canon wearing a badge.

If bought a vehicle, curbside, and parked it near where he burned his truck, he wouldn’t need any help at all, on that part anyway.

Hey! If the Authoritays have to spend a billion billion dollars of the taxpeasants’ money to catch this guy, it’s a SMALL PRICE for them to pay.

Oh - and some nice per diem and OT, too. Shut up and pay, peasant, and don’t be driving a blue truck, or looking too much like a 270 lb bald black guy...

Dorner bears a disturbing resemblance to NCIS Los Angeles’s actor LL Cool J (character name Sam Hanna).

Nothing more than a clown show of force. Did this for Rudolph and then the OT budget was drained and they went back to donuts and coffee for 5 years till they caught him. He knows this and if he has a spot he can lay low till the budget is drained he can wait them out.

The local police forces in VICTORIA BC have decided that they too are going to stop and check EVERY pickup truck they see.

Half an hour ago I went through 2 roadblocks in 3 miles where only pickups were pulled off to the side.

These folks are trying VERY hard to accustom us to random unwarranted searches!

As the (not so) Reverend Al so famously said:

RESIST WE MUCH!

Just heard a police call on the San Bernadino police scanner which said that”there was a dog at the residence, but he was a friendly dog”. Gotta think someone was thinking the cops on the Big Bear dragnet might be trigger happy.

Does that include the big chunk of change going to the obviously dangerous newspaper delivery ladies? Or the ‘outta control’ civilian guy in the truck that was also shot up by police ‘marksmen’?

There's a rumor he's getting married to the daughter of the police chief of Comodoro Rivadavia.

Just heard that there is a lot of activity on the Strip in Las Vegas. Maybe he went there to blend in. Lots of cop cars racing someplace.

He is a far better shot and appears to be far more capable than his former brethren in the LAPD.

We sheep have more to fear from the police than this guy.
He's after specific people and most of us are not on that list.
As far as the police go, that is a different story.

The terrified cops will threaten, harass and shoot more innocent people in their terror before they catch this guy.
cops harass helicopter shoot dorner pickup women

cops shoot innocent truck dorner idiots murder

Your papers please...

Very true, but he would need help , it is a long walk out of there.

He never went there. He gave the truck to a friend and told them to make it a one-way trip. That's what I would have done and I haven't had half the training this guy did.

Also, I might have left it in a ghetto area with the keys in it.

I'm curious about something. How did the FBI and US Marshals get involved in this. Did the guy break some Federal law or were they invited by LAPD? Anybody know?
