House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Cali.) confuses the first amendment and the second amendment in an interview with Chris Wallace on FOX News Sunday today.
HOUSE MINORITY LEADER NANCY PELOSI: I think that you took one piece of it. We're talking about no further sales of assault weapons. What is the justification for an assault weapon? No further sales of those, no further sales of the increased capacity, 30 rounds in a gun. We're re talking about background checks which is very popular, even among gun owners, and, hunters.

Assault rifles come under “the rest” part.
Nancy doesn’t know if she’s coming or going.
She wouldn’t “avow” the First ( or the Second) Amendment if it bit her on her considerable a$$!
It always amazes me when elected officials twist the very document that allows them to be there. You would think they would have more respect for it.
Put another way, if they don’t follow the constitution, there is no reason for them to be in elected office.
The people have a right to representatives who have an IQ over 72.

Not only did she get the amendment wrong, she misused “avow,” which means “claim.” Affirm is the word that escaped her. The blind try to lead ... I have no idea how these idiots get elected let alone re-elected. sd

I think it’s fair that whatever the police can carry, we can carry.
Actually it’s how a lot of people actually decided on their handguns. They decided if they were good enough for their local police, or what the fbi thought was good, it would be good enough for them. And same with the ammo, they wouldn’t be a “gun nut” for using ammo hotter than what the police themselves determined to be adequate but not overkill.
But second, who is anyone in government to determine what your personal security requirements are for your self-defense? Who are they to know you don’t need a certain size magazine? These are the same people that pass laws saying you can’t sue the government for not protecting you.
Nancy has that disease when you take a dump, you pass out. Clearly this is what happened answering this question.

It's a first amendment right, now that Pelosi has brought it up, we should run with it.

and i think it's fair that whatever the military can carry, we ought to be able to carry... and when i say this in discussion with gun control advocates, well--it drives them mad!

Abit funny, but I agree, if money is free speech why aren’t guns? The problem with these lefties are they don’t think through what they are saying, that always happen when they stray from their conviction or what they really believe or know. they all are chacing a goal and the end justify the method, and I think they now think the goal is in sight.
